Wouldn't go there for fried chicken. Haven't tried other dishes but the fried chicken is horrendous. Pieces are stuck together so coating is doughy in various places. Pieces are very small and it's really difficult to really know which pieces are from which cuts.. sometimes it feels like its not even the whole chicken. Not the worst, but with so many other options in town, why would you?
the five star pig feet dish was flavorful. It was darker in colour than other similar dishes. The taste was good, the meat was tender. The veggie came with the dish was fresh. I would like to see cabbage side dish, though, They serviced chive and shrimp pancake with the main dish, It was good, too. A bit more meat- De-bone work for the main dish would be a nicer touch. It's entire one dish with bones. If you would like to have meat only, you need to inform the restaurant about it. Price likely, about $40 for the main dish and the pancake, it has a value unless you cook the main dish at home. One of better Korean restaurants in the area.
Amazing!Ordered for take out and portions were huge and super tasty.
Came here for drinks and food. The lady serving us was super nice. We really enjoyed the fried chicken and kimchi tofu dish :) will be back
Best service and great food
attentive service and great food. I've tried fried chickens, pork trotters, noodles, korean pancakes. All of them were delicious and had adequate portions. As a former chef, I can tell the chef here cares about his food a lot.
What a wonderful place.Food is delicious. Service is excellent.
Great place to grab a bite and have some kfc. The portions are large and their chicken is delicious. Definitely a place to share food. Our server was quick and friendly. The chicken was crispy and saucy. The salad was a great side dish for the chicken. My partner really liked the pickled side dishes.
The best Korean Fried Chicken I have had locally. Perfect batter and technique. Definitely coming here every time over the competition.Thank you Vesta !
This restaurant is a hidden gem? that you must find. I am so happy to experience such an athentic cuisine at this restaurant. I and my friend were so ready to eat a lot today because we waited for right day to come here and today was the day :) we ordered chicken feet, pork entrails, and pork long feet. We assumed that it would be excessive portion for only two of us but we could not give up on any of them. ?First of all, the pork long feet exceeded our expectation. Both taste and portion were so great and 'prawn and chive pancake' was served as an appetizer before pork feet(it was complimentary??). And speaking of the pork feet, it was the best, and the best...? I have never tasted this pork feet ever since I came to Canada. I can feel how authentic it is. And I also was able to feel the enthusiasm of chef toward the food. It was obvious that the cuisine was cooked with lots of love and effort. And next surprising one was stir-fried entrails. Not many restaurants serves it in Vancouver because it is not easy to get rid of the bad smell of the pork intestine. However, this place did such an awesome job on it. I barely noticed that it is pork intestine. It was pleasantly chewy, and two sauces came along with it went perfectly well. It magnified the nutty flavor of the pork intestine. I loved and loved it. And last one that I expected even in my dream was spicy chicken feet. It was perfectly marinated with the sauce and I am personally not so good at dealing with spiciness, but it was not overly spicy. I did not drink a lot of water, which was good because I need some space in my stomach for the food!! And we also ordered a rice ball because chicken feet and rice ball must be ordered together. They go along so well! Overall, my experience at this place was truly the best. And although it is pretty far for me to visit here, I will be regularly going to this place to make my tongue and stomach happy. I must recommend this place for all, especially those who are having homesickness or just sick and tired of ordinary cuisine.
