I respect the employees but I got so called pistachio baklava and it just tastes like cardamom, flour and sugar and a bite of 1 square inch after 5 minutes it started to burn my lungs and caused heart burn same thing with the so called walnut baklava and it just tasted like flour, sugar and cinnamon. I suggest that let it taste like what you call it then the price matches If you can’t change it name it cinnamon baklava and cardamom baklava and change the prices.

I used to buy some stuff from time to time from the store. Yesterday night I bought honey $10.99. When I went home I opened it but unfortunately it smells bad. So next morning I asked to exchange it with another brand. The manager refused to exchange it, she said because I opened it. I said but it smells bad and I couldn’t handle this smell. Then I said ok keep it for you and I left. I know that I lost $10.99 plus tax, but I feel that the manager should to handle the problem with a customer. Despite I lost money but I feel they lost their image of how they treat the customer. By the way, there was no notification says that I couldn’t refund or exchange, which is against the law in BC. I’m sorry to share this.
Great place to get Persian goods, especially desserts. The walnut baklava and Persian honey doughnuts are my favourite. The store is very clean and organized. It's a nice place to browse and discover new items. Staff are friendly and the service is good.
