I just want to thank the Clever Cupcake team for hosting my 5 year old daughter's birthday party. Everyone attending had a blast. I find the cost of the venue and our added cake was very good value. I would totally recommend hosting a party here for your kids if ever considering. Thanks again
I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my daughter's 16th birthday. The cupcakes came in a window box but there was no insert in the box to hold the cupcakes in place. My oldest daughter went to pick them up and drove home with them as carefully as she could but most of them fell over and some were ruined beyond repair. I was able to save about 8 of them. When I messaged them to let them know what had happened they made me feel like I had done something wrong. They told me that all of their boxes have inserts to hold up the cupcakes which I am sure they do have but the box they gave me did not have an insert. They wanted to check with their staff first and get back to me. They called me back and told me the staff said they put an insert into the box. When I disagreed they asked if I wanted to come in and watch the security camera to verify that the staff had put an insert into the box. Are you kidding me? No I did not go in to look at the security footage to prove that I didn't have an insert in the box. I suggested they take a look at it first and let me know what they found. I'm still waiting for them to call me back and apologize. THis happened in January. These cupcakes are pricey and I would not recommend this company and not because the cupcakes were awful but because their customer service stinks. And they argued with a customer about something they could have easily checked on their own security camera as they had informed me it would be easy to verify that the staff put an insert into the box. Any company who argues with a customer over a small thing is not worth going back to as a repeat customer. I suggest you find another cupcake place with excellent customer service and avoid The Clever Cupcakes.
The service I received was great! However the cupcakes were subpar. We ordered 26 cupcakes for my daughters 2nd birthday and we all felt that the cupcakes were dry and the flavours were barely noticeable.
Customer service (Amanda and Jessica) - by far is five stars. The ladies here are incredibly kind, considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. I hate making the rating anything less than five, so know that the three stars is based on taste alone.I ordered mini cupcakes, one of every flavor, as I am planning a large family reunion and shopping around local bakeries to see where I would like to place the final and large order at. And again... I tried EVERY flavor on their menu. So I got a good range.The quality is good, the customer service is excellent, the flavor? Very faint, you can barely tell what it is. Even for types that should be stronger in flavor (like carrot cake, chocolate, chocolate mint, etc.); it is very hard to tell what the flavor is supposed to be because it's just not distinguishable. It's not like it tasted bad or too sweet or not sweet enough, it's just that you can't taste any flavor or flavor potency. And I'm a total foodie! I'm really disappointed, because if this wasn't an issue, I'd be giving them the large order just because of their customer service (without even trying other bakeries yet).I'm fully aware that they use less sugar in their ingredients and more natural, healthy ingredients. But that doesn't negate the fact that their flavors just aren't there... it's really bland. You can make healthy cupcakes with distinct flavors, I've done it countless times and I'm just a hobby baker. I have family who are vegan and celiacs and are able to make healthy cupcakes with healthy ingredients but actually have flavor.I'm really sad to rate this three stars, but know that it is for the flavors/taste alone, not anything else.
Blown away by the cupcakes and the customer service! Hadn’t been in over 4 years (they since switched ownership). They are so accommodating of allergies and their product is so well put together and delicious. I will be coming back for more!!
Been about 4 times and these are the best cupcakes! I have nut allergies so it’s hard to find a place that is nut free. They have gluten free and vegan options also! Each flavour we’ve tried has been amazing, personally recommend the caramel cream cheese (crowd favourite)! Service has always been great too! Recommend it to everyone I know. Bonus - went the day after my birthday and got a free cupcake! Not overly sweet which I like (not a huge icing fan). Don’t skip the opportunity to try this place!!

DO NOT order ONLINE! 2/3 times that I have ordered from there they DID NOT have my order ready for pick up! they had no record of my order. I paid on line and got a confirmation email. SO disappointed. I had to scramble last minute to find birthday cupcakes for my kids birthday parties. They need to improve their system. Managers/Owners, if you are reading this you need to change your system. Why do you have online ordering then have someone read it and then write it out on a peice of paper? why doesn't it just print out? Let me know when you fix this then maybe i'll order from you again.
I've only ordered from here twice, but each time I've been blown away by the customer service. I was actually put in a good mood after chatting with them on the phone today! Super sweet ladies, plus delicious and adorable cupcakes to boot. I end up getting a last minute birthday cake for a party and they are always accommodating and placing an order with them is such a breeze. 10/10!!!!Whomever took my Halloween order today; she's an absolute gem!
