First time here, had a wonderful experience. My parents were impressed by the quality of the food and the service was excellent. That Pasta was our favourite, and we look forward to our next visit to try the other dishes as well!
definitely glad I started coming here really good food this place is highly recommended and it's been here for a long time so I should have come here a lot sooner

It’s near our house and we decide to try it. It was delicious! My husband couldn’t stop saying his lasagna was so good for whole day. The service and chef was nice too. For me I like my calamari and my spaghetti Alfredo
Called in for take out, the told me they’re open until 9pm but only doing take out until 6pm when I was just asking what time they’re open until and that I was planning on getting take out later, they continuously talked over me. On their website it says all pasta is served with garlic bread, we never got any, so I called and she told me they “recently” stopped giving garlic bread with the pastas. They should probably let people know so they have a chance to order some…. Our prosciutto prawns were dry af and the calamari was over cooked. Also the kitchen staff weren’t wearing masks and very crowded front entry. Very very disappointing for having spent $80 on this meal for Valentine’s Day. Will definitely never order from here again.
Went here for a drink and appetizer while waiting to get into another restaurant. We were considering eating here instead of waiting an hour for a table at Greek place but the service was SO AWFUL. Completely ignored for 20 minutes before we could even order anything and the 2 servers kept walking by ignoring us even though I was clearly trying to get their attention. The didn't check vaccine passports either....The food we ordered was actually good but still would never go here again due to the lack of covid precautions and the completely terrible service.
1.Had to go to the restaurant to order takeout, they don’t pick up the phone and never call back.2.Waited for more than 5 min to have someone to take the order. No social distance at the door, good luck avoiding omicron.3.Order of bruschetta (burned), lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo took nearly 40min. Yap, they said 30min… no ready. Tipped well for the takeout didn’t help.4.Kids (4-7 year-old) were going in and out of the kitchen. Humm… I wouldn’t have noticed if they’d bother to care having food ready as promised.
Some of the best pasta in the Vancouver area, hands down! My favourites are the spicy tortellini and the smoked penne chicken pasta. The service was great too. Definitely recommend supporting this small business.
Our experience at That Place was almost 5 stars and I am sure if we would not have gone during the holidays it would have been. Great service and food, but unfortunately with restaurant space and set up the echo and noise level was almost unbearable. The restaurant has no sound dampening which in our case meant with only 4 other tables we could hardly hear each other across the table. I would still highly recommend this place!
My boyfriend had heard good things from a coworker about this place, so tonight we decided to try it out. Walked in and waited at the front door and not even a single staff member batted an eye at us. There was a server at the table right next to the front door, the least she could have done is acknowledged our presence and maybe said something like “hi, I will be with you in a moment”? As we stood there I noticed two staff members not wearing their masks (one lady with blonde hair had her mask down to her chin, and one kitchen staff member was not wearing a mask at all). We quickly decided to leave. What a horrible first impression of this place, we will not be returning!!
