Although the food is amazing, I went here without Korean friends and the waitress didn't want to explain well the menu. the Korean chicken is tasty and the service is really fast. I tried the food in the Robson street restaurant.
Such a bad experience here!!!! We came here at 8:20pm, and the waiter said we had to wait for about half an hour and last call would be at 9:00pm. I understood it was quite popular, so we didn’t mind to wait. We seat in at 8:50pm and was thinking to order bbq, but we were told that there was no more bbq because it had passed the cut off time. What?! The waiter never told us at all while we waited and we came here just for bbq. They ended up offer us the bbq which I appreciated.However, another nightmare started after we ordered. Another half an hour wait just for the raw meat (pork belly only) ?? There was no cheese when they served the food and we asked if they missed it. They said they sold out cheese earlier today. What……WITHOUT any notice againnnnn?!!! ???They really have a very Bad communication, the owner should give all your staffs a proper training!!! They wasted our time and killed our mood for whole night!! The pork belly was so so, it was a thin cut. Definitely never come back and would not recommend to everyone if you are craving for pork belly bbq, don’t waste your money!!!
Quick and friendly service. The beef bulgogi was really good. It didn’t come with rice or noodles so you’d have to order on the side to feel full. Overall a decent Korean place to hang out with friends.
Very delicious food, especially the 5 layer pork belly for BBQ. Staff is great and they assist on bbq the food for you
Great food, friendly waitress, clean dining environment, and pretty good price!The porportion is generous and the food is well seasoned. Comparable food quality in Richmond or Vancouver would be 20-30% higher in price.The only down side was that there was only one waitress working on the floor, and she managed to serve like 7-9 tables at the time when we were there. Meaning, yes, it's slow in service, but we understand she is already trying her best.
Love them food and service as 5 star-1 star for take out order last time LA galbi has rotten smell please check meat quality before cooking-1 star for unstable taste I have to write down the day that taste delicious(maybe depend on chef work schdule)
Food was delicious, as was the tea. I was unclear if we waited for the bill or walked up front. The decor was... Interesting? A very unfinished look. I didn't hate it, but I had nowhere to put my legs at the table! The burner for the hot food took up the space I wanted to comfortably be. Bathroom needed repair. Overall still a good experience. I may return =)
It was my first time trying Korean food and it was enjoyable. I went with a group of friends, which I think is recommended considering the portion sizes. The food brought new flavours, that I had never tried before. The service was great and helpful. The drinks were fun. The atmosphere seemed authentic and inviting. I recommend trying!
Been passing by and decided to give a try their bibimbap. Not bad all all but not the best one unfortunately. I’ve been expecting a bit more veggies in a dish and the egg was a bit burnt. To go order was packed well and waitress were super friendly here that’s why 4 stars.
The experience here was ok. The host/server can be more friendly but they did their best. They made us stand outside in the rain even though most of the party was there and it wasn’t that busy.The food was good but my friend ordered the chicken wings and the fried chicken in plain flavour so if wasn’t anything special.She also ordered the kalbi ribs but we got the soup instead which was still flavourful. Japchae and seafood pancake you can get most places. I think overall there was better Korean places close by.
