Food is fine been there before and I know covid restriction is over. The server is coughing constantly and serving food without a mask. Literally saw her coughing into the food she is serving!!!? This is completely not acceptable and means they dont care about food safe and customer. Will not return no matter how good the food is which is just ok and with the coughing just gross.

When I entered, the solo server pointed for me to barcode scan for English menu, and to sit down at a table. Through my time there, I started noticing contrasting treatment by the solo server to Korean customers vs non-Koreans (like me). To any Korean customers who came in, the server offered warm greetings, personally led them to their tables and served hot tea or cold water right away. On the contrary, no tea was brought until I waved at her to order.I ordered Gam Ja Tang (spicy pork bone soup). In all the other Korean restaurants, the pork in the soup would be falling off the bones tender and the potato would be soaking in the good flavour of the soup base. NOT what I have today ?. The three pieces of pork were all dry and difficult to pull from the bones. The few pieces of meat I was able to separate from the bones tasted dry and bland (nothing like the soup). The 1 piece of potato I found in the soup was also rock hard and not cooked through, nonetheless tasteless. For the lack of warmth at non-Korean customers and poorly cooked Gam Ja Tang, I will not recommend this joint to anyone.

Whenever I miss my mom's food, I have not hesitated to go to this place; only weakness is that we cannot be here on every Tuesday due to the lack of workers.

Love the soondae soup and soondae platter!Side dishes are also good

Amazing. Authentic Korean experience available in Coquitlam!

Great sundae and soups. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Good food. Service was a little slow.

Prices are not bad, but there isn't much selection. The quality of the food doesn't justify the lack of choices on the menu. Its not bad, just not great either.

Price went up but the quality went down. Service wasn't good. So I left small tips. I left a couple of dollars. The waitress told me that I should give her at least about 10 dollars as a tip. I told her that there are restaurants I do tip a lot but it's depending on the services I've received. Then the waitress told me again that I should give her more tips and that's the culture here (in Canada) and she is teaching it to me. I felt annoyed but didn't say anything. I lived in Canada for years. Tipping is more like an American culture but when I am happy with the service and food quality, I leave 20% to 25% tips. Instead of forcing customers to tip more, the restaurant may better try to improve the service and quality.

The food was just normal nothing special, and it feels like you can easily find the foods in the restaurant in your home if you are Korean. The waitress was impatient, and felt like she was rushing us to quickly order without fully going over the menu and choosing them. The gestures and the way how the waitress talks to us felt bit rude and disappointing. Some meat with a bone inside of a soup wasn’t hot enough, felt like someone cooked with the meat that was leftover, and it was bit tough. Lastly it would’ve been better if the menu had English too. It kind of feels like if you don’t know Korean, just go back or you don’t have other choice than choosing from the menu that has picture. It was kind of disappointing to me that some people that doesn’t know Korean foods and culture might get confused and might get a bad impressions and stereotypes from this restaurant. Personally it needs and it will be better if this restaurant haves some improvements on these things that I mentioned, and reflect on the things that has been already reviewed from someone else that thinks this restaurant needs an improvement.
