One of the Korean restaurants in Lougheed mall area. We tried cold noodle dish, codfish soup, and deep fried fish, everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed even the complimentary side dishes. The staff were warm and inviting. We will go back to try other items for sure. They don’t accept same day reservations though since they seem to have lineups usually. I will book a table in advance next time.
Recommend seafood tofu soup! It’d be better if the soup could contain shrimp inside. Overall good!
Great little Korean restaurant. Standard Korean dishes and friendly staff.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. In the Hanin plaza. Place was packed, but the staff was so accommodating. The service was quick and our server was awesome. The food also came out quick. Everything we had was yummy. Generous with the sides. Sad there was no potato or tteokbokki. But that's okay. I would come back again.
I regret not trying this fabulous restaurant earlier. I was skeptical about trying agujjim. But, today was the first day of new year, I decided to go for it! I have read a lot of great reviews about deep fried gajami and agujjim, so I ordered them right away. As I expected, the portion of agujjim was huge. It seemed more than enough for 4 people. Yellow bean sprouts were cooked perfectly. It was nicely crunch in my mouth. And I love the texture of fish in agujjim. * please be extra careful for fishbone because they are sometimes curly. * agujjim was good but I loved the deep fried gajami more. It was the world best deep fried fish. The taste was not greasy at all. The fish meat was so dense, so it almost tastes like not fish. My husband does not like fish but he liked this one. And it was only about $17. If I lived close by, I would come more often!!
They serve common Korean food such as Bulgari, spicy meat, tofu pot, etc. However, there are some authentic options such as deepfried whole fish, spicy fish with bean sprout like more pan fry and steam style. Some dishes might not be served like at other Korean restaurants but more authentic.
Incredible value! The deep fried halibut (entire fish) was around 1.5 lbs, and cost only $17 before tax. And apparently, our fish was below their standard weight and they gave us another halibut tail! The meat we got was probably 3 times the amount of a one piece fish and chips, yet the same price. And their fish/tofu soup is very good, and though priced slightly higher at $16-$17, the portion is also much bigger. My wife and I got the halibut fish and a fish soup, and we could barely eat all of it because of the large portion. One minor critique is the soup has some MSG. Will come back and try their other items.
Everything was super tasty. We saw someone with the deep fried halibut and follow suit. Best decision ever.
Overall food is tasty, however after eating the pork bone soup, my friends and I feel stomachache for the whole day. I don’t know whether this restaurant’s food is fresh or not.
Good Korean seafood place❤️???
