Came here for fathers day and had the most wonderful time. They even had a highchair we could use for our 9 month old. We had two of their bun creations and tea. Definitely will be coming back again :)
Buns and milk tea are delicious. Service is fantastic. Today my husband got his drink, walked outside and immediately tripped and dropped it. He went inside to order another one, and the cashier insisted on replacing the drink for free, even though he was prepared to pay. They also welcome dogs on the patio and offer table service out there as well. It’s a great place to stop while walking the pup
We liked this place. „The works“ was delicious. The vegan wrap could be more flavoured- but we liked the consistency. We loved the music and we think it’s a good place to study.. it’s not too loud. The matcha was good- I’d love it a little bit more Sweet. Service was also good- they’ve brought it to our table.The toilets could be cleaner..
Love the buns: crunchy, fresh, buttery, yum! Good selection of gluten free bakery too. The JjBean coffee is good and the place has a charming, positive vibe. Good central location, but parking might be a problem.
Friendly staffs and nice atmosphere! The works + iced americano are such a perfect combination. It's hard to find a table to sit though as this place is always busy.
The beverages are good here, staff is very friendly. Al though I am vegan and wanted to try their specialty coffee buns they were unfortunately not dairy free. They have just a few 1-2 options in vegan in the bakery.
I have went here multiple times and I'll say it's a good place to study/work, because the drinks/food are quite good like buns and coffee but one problem I'll say it's bit too loud because of customers, however other than that are all good. The cafe stays until late till 10 usually so it's really good to focus, because if it closes early you would have to move somewhere
It's an amazing place to take your date. One of the best bakery food and specialty coffee drinks. Should try atleast once. I would prefer to come back again and again.
Buns are awesome! If you want a great dessert, this place is great!However - the coffee is honestly pretty gross. I'll preface this by saying that I love JJ Bean (their coffee is really impressively good for a chain), so it's not the roasters fault. I recommend them if you're in Port Moody!The drip coffee especially tastes... well, it tastes like the carafe is dirty, and the beans taste old. I thought that maybe the espresso would be better, since espresso machines are typically cleaned better and more often than drip coffee carafes. It was better (it didn't have the dirty taste) but the beans still tasted wrong. Over-roasted and old. It's a shame because the service and desserts are great.
Had a bit of time before dinner, friends and I decided to park ourselves at papparoti to chat and catch up. This coffee shop is clean, well lit and has great wifi! The coffee is so robust and strong - it will make you grow hair where you didn’t know it could grow -?and the ice cream bun is really a sin. That’s how good it is! Enjoyed the well laid out and laid back atmosphere at this quite serene hideaway.
