Recommend visiting this restaurant with friends or family. Don't come alone. Their portion is huge.
Nice casual pub style korean chicken place with good selection of korean fried chicken and other dishes. I liked their assorted katsu as well (of course, being a fried food place). Tteokbokki was great with cheese and calamari toppings. It was on a tad bit on the spicy side for me.Green onion and the sweet soy sauce went so well together with the chicken
Tried their chicken platter and it was delicious. Also we tried their half and half... the sweet chili sauce was super. Nice cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Must try.
My favorite place for Korean fried chicken! The pieces are large and juicy, the outside is crunchy and the seasoning/taste is better and better with each bite ? the staff are very friendly and welcoming even though they are constantly busy, big kudos to their hard work and dedication to happy customers! On the menu, there's a good variety of rice, cutlets, and noodles as well as snacks/sides, great for sharing with a group!Today I tried the honey butter chicken and it has a nice sweetness and crunch from the honey butter sauce! Usually I get the half and half but wanted to try something different ^.^I've also enjoyed the spicy soy and padak chicken a lot too!! Honestly every time I had a fried chicken dish, it was so enjoyable! Only some flavours have a half size option so being the I decisive person I am when it comes to choosing from a menu, I'll usually get one half size option and one full size option !! Take the extra home as a snack for later! ;)
Given 3 stars because of the amazing food, service was slow and not too much concerned about the customer experience. The floor was managed by young people, not sure if you can expect much, but nonetheless, still a restaurant and you expect to be served as in one.
We went here for late dinner.Service needs a lot of improvement. The space is tight.Food is very disappointing.Chicken is dry.The platter is a mediocre. (NO RICE!!! REALLY?) tenderloin , sirloin and chicken are dry. Fried fish is bland.Shredded cabbage with a dressing of mayo and ketsup is their salad. The house tea , "I don't know how can they call it tea"Utensils are poorly cleaned.VERY LIMITED PARKINGNot totally acessible to person with disability.Needs better lighting..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.There are many good or better Korean restaurants in Coquitlam that is worth visiting.
We were out in Coquitlam running errands so decided to have dinner at Oz. Great choice! We ordered bibimbap, fried chicken combo - regular and sweet chilli and dubocki with cheese. Chicken was boneless and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Bibimbap was not served in hot stone bowl but still tasty. Dubocki was cheesy and saucy.
i've come here to eat at least ten times and i alwayyyyyyyyys get the half and half! u cant not get it. this is my fav place around and i really enjoy the atmosphere and food here! theres like a thousand half and half pics below from most of the times i got it up till now LMFAO
Been to Oz a couple of times. The taste and flavour is on point, however prices are a little higher than your average Korean restaurant considering the smaller than average portions.Service has been quick and would recommend trying out if in the area!
OZ is one of the better Korean Fried Chicken places in the Coquitlam area. Their chicken set is consistently delicious, spicy rice cake dish, Tteok-bokki, is always a welcome side. The ambience is always nice, a good mix of teens, families and couples dining together, and the atmosphere is always lively.Food is priced reasonably, but I’ve noticed that they’ve increased their prices a little and their portions have shrunk.Service is a hit and miss, and visiting during dinner time usually results in a long lineup. Our group of 5 waited for about 40 minutes in the freezing rain before being seated and staff were pretty much aloof and didn’t really come by the tables to get refills of water/tea unless you got their attention.Otherwise, I’d recommend coming here for the food and beer, but not for the service.
