A very low quality non authentic Japanese restaurant. The quality of the ingredients they use is poor. The sushi rice is rolled with a machine making it taste weird and mushy. The sashimi is expensive and not fresh. People that give restaurants like this a good review doesn’t know what sushi is.
It was my first time visiting here last night.I had excellent service and good quality food.I ordered by phone and everything was ready for pick-up exactly on time and the packaging was good (and kept everything hot). I really liked my food, I really liked the tofu and I liked the ratio of vegetables to noodles/sauce.I was extremely satisfied with the service and I look forward to coming back again soon. (Thank you!❤️)All the staff are masked and polite. The woman who took my order was excellent.
This is one of my favorite sushi places ever :) The ingredients are very high quality and the staff are all very friendly! Would definitely recommend :)
We’ve ordered more than 10 times and never got disappointed. All of the dishes on menu are fantastic. Also great taste when you take it home. The oshi sushi is greeeeeeeat! Special rolls are amazing. And try their katsu! Udon! Highly recommend.Still, something I do not like: tuna bite, yakisoba and yakiudon.
Really wanted to like this place because i just moved into the area, after spending 85$ today for lunch the owner was going to charge me for extra ginger and wasabi. The sashimi was thinly sliced, the rolls all were drenched in a sweet sauce, what really bothered me the most was that they don't even use real sushi rice❗❗❗ Cheap regular rice all smushed together. Shameful.
Food was great. Service was not. Two young servers chatted and chatted and ignored customers. It appeared they were more interested in conversation and not work. Obviously the boss/owner was not in. I would have fired these servers. The world does not owe you a living… you have to work for it.
I walked in to order to go, Waitress never took my name, they had some inside customers & phone calls. I Got home, no Sauce for Prawn Tempura & not enough Wasabi for 2 orders of Tuna Rolls. I called to complain, lady on phone said her name was Shirley, she said she would replace it. I said I'll be back when I have time. I went back on April 12, 2022, I told the Owner Wife & Husband ..he said you pay 1/2 for another Prawn Tempura Order & you get Sauce free. He said on his Computer Register it mentioned no Shrimp Tempura Sauce but no mention of not enough Wasabi. I told the Owner lady on phone was Shirley, he says I don't know a Shirley working here. I told Owner I have eaten here for 2yrs periodically because it's in area but your Food needs Improvement in taste, so honour me a Free Meal for an awful meal at home. Owner wouldn't give me a free Prawn Tempura & 1 Tuna Roll value about $15.00. I decided not to pay the 1/2 of Prawn Tempura because it's not that good, I have had better tasting food than his. I have never Recommend his Restaurant to anyone, never will & I told him I won't be back as a Customer. No other good Sushi Restaurants in this area of Coquitlam.
THE BEST SUSHI!!!Consistent, fresh, delicious.I have multiple food allergies and they are accommodating. Wonderful family owned business, you can tell they truly care about their craft. Highly recommended!
Who needs to go to Miku or Minami for Oshi sushi. This locally owned family restaurant has the best Oshi sushi ever. Everything was so fresh and delicious. More importantly, the portions are great with reasonable prices. They also have their unique special rolls that you need to try. I am a picky eater and I approve of this hidden gem!
Wow. So fresh and everything was very very good. We had veggie tempura, gomae, sunomono, appetizer sashimi and a Mega Roll that was a WOW! We will definitely be back!
