We have gotten take out from here *many* times and it's always perfect! The entrees are delicious with a wide range of sauces and gravies, and the paneer pakora with coriander chutney is a particular favourite. I actually dream about these pakoras...
The food was great. It was a bit spicy but I expected that so not complaining about that, just not my favourite. The 2 stars were deducted for bad service. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly. My daughter spilled some water and I notified him. He said he'd come clean but didn't and the entire time we were there I was worried my daughter would slip since below her chair was wet.
Some of the best Indian I've had in a long time. I had the chicken Tikka masala with garlic naan and rice and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and they had Indian music videos playing which was fun.
Great food. Loved the sizzler platter and peshawari naan.
My wife and I went here for a quick lunch outing and were pleasantly surprised at the taste of the food. The person who served us helped answer some questions about our food choices and made some suggestions that allowed us to fully enjoy our selection of indian food beyond what we could’ve imagined. All the meat was tender and juicy and sauces were packed with flavour. The garlic naan is light and was cooked just right - not overly done or under baked. Looking forward to having more of it!
Just had dinner here with my partner, AMAZING food! We ordered the Pudina chicken Tikka sizzler and it was delicious. Must try that as well as the lamb Rogan Josh and the bread basket. The service was also wonderful, very professional and nice.
Fine, I agree I was being biased in my previous review. The following review is based on facts:I went into the restaurant. The gentleman who was working Sunday night looked at me and I proceeded to greet him asking how he was doing. No response from the gentleman. I informed him I was picking up my order and told him the name. He told me he will check and walked to the kitchen area. After a few minutes, he came out holding a bag. I assume that was mine but still confirmed with him by repeating the name to make sure. He smiled and placed the bag on the table. As he was putting the bag down, I asked the gentleman a question. At the same time, there was a somewhat elderly woman who came in the restaurant. The gentleman ignored me and immediately went to greet the woman and yelled in excitement. He asked her how she was doing and engaged in small talk. I left the restaurant. That is the end of the fact-based review.I felt uncomfortable because there was a huge contrast between how the gentleman interacted with me and how he engaged with the somewhat elderly woman. Most importantly, I just wanted to ask a question but I was unimportant enough that I could be ignored.Edit: Thank you for your attempt to make amends. If next time I get better experience, I will adjust the rating.
Not sure about some of the negative reviews, I always get such good customer service when I go in or order over the phone - they always call me by my name and know exactly what I want to order. They also offer 10% off take out. I love the butter chicken and mango chicken. The portions are huge. I’m in surrey and will drive out to Coquitlam just for the butter chicken.
Cannot recommend this place enough. I was introduced to it a few years ago and it is consistently delicious, with amazing service. Often grab the butter chicken or spinach chicken and they are always cooked and spiced perfectly. Will for sure be back — and often.
Easy ordering for pickup. Order was ready on our arrival. Friendly staff. Ordered Butter Chicken, Prawn Vindaloo, Lamb Korma, Chicken Pakora, Rice and Garlic Naan. The food was decent and portions were good, but I've had much better Indian over the years. Entrees averaged about $16 each. This seems like a reliable spot to get decent Indian food with good service, but won't blow your socks off.
