Heard great things about this place so decided to give it a try with a friend. The ramen was delicious and they didn't disappoint. The egg was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend!
Server was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly after I placed order. I had Zenbu Mazesoba and Tokyo Milk tea. The milk tea was so good, not too sweet and suites my taste. The mazesoba is salty which I didn't like; however, noodles themself are surprisingly chewy and good. Will try different dish next time.
Really tasty portions of mazesoba noodles. The most popular one with the pork and the seaweed shredded with the egg yolk is the best. We order this all the time and I think this location is better than the Brentwood or Metro one but then again that’s just an opinion.Friendly staff, food came out in a timely fashion and no wait. A good experience and I will come again.
Never had mazesoba before, it was quite tasty and the instructions were very helpful! Not too heavy and it was good to be able to customize a bit with vinegar and chili, especially since the spice level was really low. The drinks came in a very cute plastic bag as well!
Absolutely amazing food! The staff was polite and friendly, we were seated almost immediately, and they were quick to take our order. The meal was prepared very fast, so quickly that the items we ordered to share before our meal came all arrived with our meal, but that is what efficiency looks like!Preparation was excellent, we were asked about allergies, and although we had none, it is quite inclusive to ensure a great meal experience. We will definitely return!
Delicious flavours ,well cooked and the right balance of oils, seasoning and toppings. The chasu cubes mixed with the sauce and noodles will have you come back for more. Definitely worth checking out. I have brought many friends here and they keep coming back for more.Fast and reliable service as well.
This was my second time visiting a Kokoro Mazesoba location (first time was the downtown location) and this visit did not disappoint! Ordered the Niku Mazesoba and it was consistent with my first visit. Super creamy, rich, and very filling! Highly recommend and will continue coming back for this!
Overall the food does not disappoint. the noodles are super amazing. I will go back for sure. The only cons I have for this place is the Service itselfI ordered the combo which I can choose one of the following 6 items. I chose the Fuji Cheese Cup Cake. They charged me $4.95 for it at the end, now I was under the impression that was free with the combo. But I could be wrong and maybe they did list the price there and I just didn’t see it?Part of that Service experience is I have to ask the server for a few things that I assume they will bring out when is time? Like the rice for the combo I have to ask for them to bring it to me. And than at the end the waitress brought over the bill but I didn’t even have my dessert I ordered….until I remind her and she brought it over.
One of our favorite dinner haunts when we were living in New West last year. Love their hot Sake, Kara Karaage (yummy and spicy!), Pork Gyoza (scrumptious!) and Mazesoba (delish)!? Their Ramen is good too. Just what the doctor ordered for cold, winter evenings! In all of our three visits there, we have been unlucky to have missed their Hokkaido creme cone (it gets sold out oh-so-quickly!), but their Fuji-cheese cup cake is a good consolation!?Good, prompt and friendly service, and booth-style tables that are private and ensure social distancing. Ample space up front for free street parking. Now that we've moved to Burnaby, we can't wait to check out their nearby locations.Pro tip: Use the "How to eat Mazesoba?" guide placed on each table for enjoying the dish the way it is meant to be! The vinegar and chilli flakes are true game changers! Also, make sure to go early if you plan on getting your hands on a Hokkaido creme cone (that's on my agenda too!)
