We went to get Dim Sum at Kam Ding in Coquitlam today. The restaurant was busy when we arrived shortly after 11am but it didn’t take long for the 3 of us to get a table. Service was excellent and the food was SO good we devoured 2 plates before I remembered to start taking pictures ? Each dish was delicious, seasoned with well-balanced flavours. All the dumplings were also generously sized and SO satisfying to eat! We left with very full tummies ☺️ In total, we had 10 plates with a final bill of $60.90 before tip.
Oh my goodness ! I would like to say that this one is my favorite! The food was really nice! The portion and price was good !
If you're looking for fancy Dim Sum, this may not be the place for you. The air conditioner looks like it will fall off the wall at any time and the carpet is a little scary. But if you're looking for really, really good dim sum then definitely drop by! They have all the standards and they're always incredibly tasty. I have been eating here for 15 years, so good. Now, the only crushing down point is that they raised their prices during Covid-19, so they are no longer the best tasting inexpensive dim sum sound, but they are so incredibly flavourful.
I deffinaty suggest Kam Ding if you're looking for good Dim Sum!This place is Fantastic! Usually there for lunch/mid afternoon which is always super busy. This time in for dinner which is a good time to go if you like a quieter seating. I don't ever have a clue what's ordered, my sister does all the talking. Irregardless, always good food, tasty, hot, fresh and fast. Staff are all very friendly and attentive.
Its a great place for Dim Sum.Not high end b any means the place and tables could use a reno but the food is great.Service is great and they always keep the tea pot full
Basic cart service dim sum lunch, tasty and friendly. All our favourites.
Did a mix take out food here for lunch. Dim sums (HaGao SiuMai) were pretty decent. Congee was soft but fried noodles were lacking flavours. The Fried beef noodle was oily and rather plain. So in conclusion I would say stick with dim sum here!
This is my go to dim sum place! They are super friendly and have a rolling trolley that has a great variety of choices and reasonably priced. Only wish they also served deep fried taro balls and for some reason they don’t have mango pudding anymore. They now have dine in service and am so glad to be able to sit in and enjoy the full dim sum experience again.
Old school push cart dim sum place. We had 4 dim sum, two were good two were so so. Dim sum for small, medium and large are all set at $5.80 per plate. .The price is reasonable and there's no charge for the tea. Fast service and friendly staff. We may go back to try out other dishes before changing the rating.
