Haven't been in many years. Great to be back. Complimentary sparkling wine at the front desk. Lovely service - everyone and anyone who works there will help you, take your order, bring your water etc. Service is friendly and they have a wonderful team approach. High ceilings make it a tad noisy inside. Free parking. Accessible.
Went to Joeys for a late dinner in Coquitlam on Sunday of the Victoria Day long weekend. The service was wonderful. Initially we were seated at a table right infront of the kitchen and it was so dark that i was using my phone flashlight to look at the menu. Our server came over and promptly asked if we would like to change our table and proceeded to move us to a large booth behind the guest services desk.We proceeded to order our Appies and OMG everything was spectacular! We had the roasted corn Guac with nachos tofu lettuce wraps sushi cones and finally the crab cakes with this amazing fresh fennel radish celery salad! It was sooooo good. For mains we had baja fish tacos prawn ricotta ravioli and a burger. Again all well seasoned. But we were so full we ended up taking most of our mains home. For drinks we had virgin watermelon refreshers. They were ok I would mix the watermelon juice with lemon soda for a better taste. The service was amazing! Our server was lovely and I wish I could remember her name! She was a beautiful tall Asian girl with the most lovely demeanour. Thank you for being so attentive. All in all a wonderful night of good eats.
We went to Joey's for late dinner around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. They had happy hour and, surprisingly, quite a few people came in after us since it's one of the few places that close later than majority of the restaurants in the area. The atmosphere was very pleasing, with dim lights and fancy well-thought interior. We requested to have a table where the music is not too loud and got seated near the kitchen. The smell was amazing, it made us even more hungry. I got Joey Classic Steak and my husband got Steak Frites, both medium rare. The chef nailed the readiness. My steak, Joey Classic, tasted slightly better because it was a softer and thicker piece of meat, also priced a bit higher than Frites. It had asparagus and crispy mashed potatoes on the side. Everything was cooked to perfect readiness and flavors work together really well. Steak Frites had fresh arugula salad and fries on the side. Those were nicely made and stayed hot and soft until my husband finished the meal. Food was served pretty fast and we had a very sweet waiter who was checking on us promptly to make sure we like the food and have everything we need. We ordered espresso and molten chocolate cake for dessert. It exceeded our expectations. It was served with ice cream and raspberries - the flavors that work really well with chocolate. It was very liquid inside, but did not burn the mouth, so it was pure pleasure to eat. I also used part of ice cream to mix it with coffee and made Affogato for myself. Overall, the experience was great. I've been to this place once in the past and this time was even better. The washroom was tidy, and the place was very clean and well maintained. We'll be definitely going back.

I hadn't visited for 7 or 8 years. I love the newish decor. Our waitress checked on us over a handfull of times and was very sweet. The food was excellent and came rather quickly for how busy they were. Very good management there I believe and it shows. Would have been 5? but it is very loud in there. Acoustics issue of the design...
Awesome Food and great cocktails and desserts
Came in for a snack and a couple of drinks to finish off the Canada long weekend. Most of the food here is pretty good (4 stars and up) but it's the service that is outstanding! The dayshift manager was friendly, professional and made me feel welcomed right away.My server, Marley T, had a friendly personality, positive and social which definitely made the whole dining experience exceptional! Attentive with a sense of humor, she is probably one of the best server and I dine out a lot.Notes: Yam fries I prefer a lil bit crisper but still tasted good so I did not send it back. The Moscow Mule.. is not a Moscow Mule.. Tasted like a Citrus Soda with a slight ginger kick. Should name it "Twisted Moscow Mule" would love a classic Moscow Mule though.Bellini is amazing I don't mind the brain freeze
Always had wonderful experience at Joey's but not today. We both ordered the steak and ravioli for the first time and they looked good when they arrived...although I didnt expect the steaks to be sliced in the kitchen. But it seems that they never rested the steaks before serving. All the juices fromthe meat came out and now the steak and ravioli are swimming in water. The ravioli sauce became watery and the steaks were dry. So I asked for some sauce (peppercorn sauce) and got a small servinb for each us. When we got the bill, the 2 tiny servings of sauce were $4.50 each. Wow! A heads up when we asked for the sauce would have been nice. The place has nice ambience and good service but the food quality was lacking. The steaks were dry and bland. And the pool of juice in the middle of the plate was an amateur move. Disappointed.
Went here for father's day lunch. The server was very kind and attentive. But more importantly, my dad really enjoyed himself here with the 14oz NY strip + beer. He rarely says this but said he would go here again.
ravioli is the bomb! will be back soon..service was Great! steak was the best I've had in a long time , Thank You!
