Been ordering Afghan food for pick-up on the regular. The food is wonderful and tasty, great portion size, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
We wanted to try different restaurant than. Our usual so we give it shot As it has 4.1 rating. But we were disappointed , this is not indian restaurant , taste and greavy is quite different in taste, Naam is not as soft.We are vegetarian and we only order indian food. They may have other stuff good but my family didn't like Indian food.
Biryani was spicy and hot enough but didn't have enough ingredients. It was only rice and lamb. The paneer chili had a sweet taste to it. Very friendly staff though.
Wow! Outstanding restaurant. Quite possibly my favorite restaurant in the entire Tri-Cities - even all of Vancouver. I've ordered many times from Jamila's and every time the food is incredible. Whether I get pizza or traditional food, it's always the best. They even customize your level of spiciness (I love mine super spicy). I highly recommend going here! They're amazing to the community too - lots of philanthropy. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The butter chicken is just chicken in spicy tomato soup. NOT a traditional butter chicken at all. Disgusting. My grandmother's souvlaki was fine though, hence the extra star. Also, didn't say on their website that they use doordash. Had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered. Disgusting, over spiced, food. Will never order again, AND have to find another solution for dinner.
We ordered Qabuli rice with beef kebab as take out and it was so delicious and also the food quality was great. They packed the food for us organized and nice.I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone ?
Quite simply some of the best Indian-Western fusion food in all of the Tri-Cities. If you're a fan of beautifully thick and saucy Indian curries like are renowned in London, then this is your place. Generous portions. Plus, their staff are some of the most friendly and accommodating folks when ordering or picking up.
Ordered delivery from Jamila’s Kitchen and was so impressed! The Lamb Qabuli Palaw and Boolani were amazing, not to mention the chutneys! 5 stars all the way, will definitely order from them again.
I have been to many Afghan Restaurants in Canada but while visiting Vancouver we gave a try to Jamila’s kitchen the food was delicious and large portion also they have Indian and Greek food as well the restaurant owned by Family they were very friendly hospitable we had a great experience
We only ordered here as we were in the neighbourhood and it seemed to have good reviews. Unfortunately, this has been the worst and most unpleasant Indian food I have had. We ordered the ''Paneer Burji" and the consistency was "soup" like, to the point that it was quite runny. There was barely any shredded paneer, I would say their was more sauce and peas in it than actual paneer. We also didn't end up finishing the food and threw out majority of it. Maybe the other cuisines they serve here might be better, but we definitely won't be coming back to try more.
