Went on a weekday evening with a large group. Insadong was quite busy at the time with most tables full. The restaurant was very accommodating and gave us time to order. Food arrived very quickly after ordering and staff provided suggestions on the order in which the meat should be cooked. Salad was fresh and the soup had a good flavour. The meat was plated nicely and there was more than enough food for seven people, considering the Family Combo was intended for four people. The staff did not push our group to leave and they were quite regular with changing out the grilling plates. The staff did not refill the water after some time, but the staff did seem to be quite busy.Considering the price, would recommend for a special occasion.
Came for dinner and the service was really bad. When we ordered, the waitress only took my order and didn’t even look at my husband and wait for him to order. She just walked off without serving him. Another waiter that dropped off the food literally threw the food onto the table and slid it to us instead of placing it on the table. They have call bell buttons for service at each table but we had to press it 3x to get anyone to come over. We will not be back.
Don't order the bossam. They give you half pork belly and half of this very lean dry pork that smells very awful and gamey. Do not recommend at all.. The cabbage they give is partially boiled and not soft at all. They give sauces such as bean paste and a ton of radish which is great. I just could not get over the tough pork meat and could not eat it at all. Very disappointed!
Top quality meat(beef$45/serving) for BBQ, but very expensive. Staffs are very friendly, but restaurant's noise level is high, so you need loud voice for conversation. Overall that place is good enough for Korean BBQ dinner!
Poor service: Restaurant was a bit busy for seemingly only two people on the floor, which was understandable, but the waitress we got felt rather too condescending for no apparent reason. A gigantic white spider had dropped from the vent onto my plate, and we rang for service twice only for the waitress to give an attitude back, and not being nearly apologetic enough. Although I'm not blaming her directly, a more sincere apology would have been nice. She also seemed way too rushed to even let us finish our requests. However, the waiter who worked with her was much nicer and helpful.Mediocre quality for the price: for the price we're paying, wish the meats could be better. Came here twice and this issue still persists.
We love this place! It's great for family when you have a bog groups as they have private rooms. The food is pretty good for the price. Service is quick and thorough.
Good sized restaurant. Nice moder atmosphere. Very good fast service with a button push. We had on a late afternoon the Insadong combo and only had to decide which soup and we went with spicy tofu. We were full and happy.
This restaurant was amazing. From the food to the service and i don't remember his name but Ken had such a bright smile. Thank you Insadong for such a great evening
I want here for Christmas dinner in a long time! I don’t know what happened but whatever renovation they have done to this restaurant s MARVELOUS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️First of all the interior has changed for the better! It’s safer!Secondly, the food is also superb! For the money you’re paying you will get more than enough to eat.I have been eating at this restaurant since I was 15 years old and up until two years ago I thought the taste was getting a little different.? However going again in a long time on Christmas this year .. I realized and tasted a HUGE difference (Which is a good thing!) ?Lastly, the service was on TOP! The waiters were so kind and assisted us on almost everything!!! You must must try this place out!?
