Super stoked to find this tiny hidden gem.I had the pig ears, dumplings and takoyaki appies were umami bombs .And the brisket noodles were delicious as well ps(hand made noodles).
Very good newly opened restaurant!! Great flavor and serving attitudes, the dishes triggered my childhood memories. Definitely recommended to go!
Just came to this small restaurant today. I'm so surprised that coquitlam has such a good restaurant that offers the most classic Sichuan flavor cuisines, especially handmade noodles and housemade broth. Both I and my wife came from Chongqing and are generally a bit picky about how the chilli pepper oil is made up as it is believed to be the key indicator of the quality of typical Sichuan cuisines. They do a great job and I'd definitely recommend this place to Sichuan cuisine lovers.
I have been here many times, really like their hand-made noodle, very traditional Chinese flavor, love their wonderful service too!
First time here and was impressed with the food and service! I got the beef tripe noodle which had a rich broth with fresh noodles. The cucumber salad was also fresh and delicious. The owner lady offered me a free dessert (which I don’t know the name of ?) that was super refreshing. Thank you!
We went into this place on a whim and we’re blown away by their food. The gyoza is hand made every morning and gets sold out quickly so I would recommend that you get that. The noodles were also amazing. They have hand-pulled noodle option and I regret not getting that but the soup and the ingredients they used seem very authentic. Be careful of the portions because we couldn’t finish everything that we ordered but I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Chinese noodle place!
Stopped because they make their own noodles... SUCH a Chinese menu: beef osamun (which I can't remember how to spell!) tendon, chitterlings, duck and chicken feet, even gizzards....The beef brisket noodle bowl is more than enough for 2 for lunch, full of flavour and so fresh. We had it with takoyaki, the crispness I have ever had, and with the most octopus inside, too.Try it out.Oh, and the noodles are lovely!
Went for dine in last night, quiet atmosphere felt so welcomed. Great customer service and yummiest food with great prices. Highly recommended, support local.

We were excited to try Chuan after looking at all the great reviews and photos… but when we ordered through Skip the Dishes, the beef noodle soups were nothing like the pictures :(1. They didn’t separate the noodles and soup into different containers. So the noodles had absorbed most of the soup.2. Barely any meat, nothing like the photos. They weren’t even whole pieces, they were little bits and I am not even exaggerating. We thought it was a mistake?I would recommend dining in instead…maybe it would be a different experience… do not order through skip the dishes.
