Jjampong taste has been changed. Server never ever show up after served my dishes. So, my hubby went to get extra plates and pops for us. Store wasn't busy at all but server never show up. Once they realized I didn't pay a tip they suddenly changed their attitude to my families. If you want to get a tip, you need to provide better service
We came on a Thursday at 11:30. We ordered Combo B which comes with Jajangmyeon (black bean noodles), Jangpong (seafood noodles) and Kkanpungi (fried chicken in sauce). It came with three sides fish cake, potato and kimchi. Unfortunately (I believe because we weren't Korean - can't confirm) they didn't provide us with the onion and radish that I saw other tables were provided with. What is Jajangmyeon with radish... A slight disappointment. The size of the jajangmyeon and jangpong were on the smaller side. The jajangmyeon tasted like it came from a package. It was probably one of the least satisfying jajangmyeon that I've had. The flavour of the black bean wasn't very strong. The jangpong was not very spicy. There was quite a bit of seafood in it but overall wouldn't get it again. The kkanpungi was VERY large. The outside was quite thick. The flavour was not bad. It wasn't very crispy it was more chewy. For the price, ($45) it isn't bad for the amount of food you get. But overall the flavours weren't astonishing. I wouldn't come back for the same items
The service is very quick but they seemed short staffed as no one came to check on our food after it was served.The food always tasted good though with good portions. The price is on the higher end in my opinion but I guess the portions justify.They are also quite good with providing take-out containers for leftovers.I just wish they would come by and check on the customers cause we wanted more radish.With one noodle dish, one rice dish, and a chicken dish to share, we paid $70 including tax and tip.
Portions are massive!! The sweet and sour pork was good, it wasn’t too sweet or sour. The spicy fried chicken was really crunchy and didn’t have much tender juicy meat in it. The black bean noodle was ok, it was flavourful but only had a few shrimps and cuttlefish in it.It was hard to call the server because we were in one of the booths and the walls are quite high. This is a great place for value not really quality but I didn’t mind it.
Ordered a pick up today. Food is quite decent. Price is reasonable. Black bean sauce noodle and pork bone soup /rice were quite a treat. So bulgogi was a bit plain all compared but would come back again for a family take out.
Easy and no frills. Went with one other person and we got the combo A. It was gigantic and we had a good portion to takeaway. Good place to come if youre really hungry and dont have a lot to spend!
Tasteless but price is cheap. At some moment, I even feel my instant black bean noodles tastes better than their ones. And the sweet and sour pork is tasteless and not sweet and sour enough.
Get the jjangbbong and the jaejanggmyeon. So good! Fried chicken and seafood pancake was also so amazing.
Good customer service really impressed, food was great I hardly recommend, Faboulos prices under $20.
