I like the people who work there and the food but a missed opportunity for not serving some kind of breakfast. This location over the years had been known for just that. Now that Chilliwack is growing again would be great to see
First time trying the sushi at Tokyo Japanese Grill and we loved it. So fresh and so tasty! Order was ready when I arrived. Building is amazing and full of history! Deffinetly recommend this sushi!
Miso soup was delicious. Nigiri sushi and rolls were good but not amazing. Tempura was quite dense and a bit too oily. Server was friendly enough but not super attentive - we had to ask for side plates because none had been provided. The atmosphere felt very meh - no Japanese-inspired decor or music or anything really to make us feel like we were in a Japanese restaurant (other than the food, of course). Just a few things here and there that made our dining experience feel quite mediocre.
My partner and I have eaten a few times here, and we always love it. One of the better miso and sunomono that I've had in the lower mainland, which is saying something.
Great and unexpected find...brilliant food, great service, fun atmosphere. If you like Japanese food eat here !!
Decided to give them a try, wished we didn't, my wife couldn't finish her tuna. She said it was the worst sushi she has ever eaten and she has been eating for 30+ years. Fish was not very fresh and we hope we don't get sick 2 thumbs down ?
One of the best Sushi places in town, very nice employees, and they have very good food!
The server was really sweet but the food was only ok. Definitely not worth the huge amount of money being charged. I will not return.
We ordered in and it was the best we have had on along time The Canuck roll and the Tuna fire roll both sooo sooo good It's a must try Especially if your staying at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack We used Skip the Dishes that's amazing service as well
Ordered via skip. No issues with delivery. Rice was undercooked - it was mushy and hard so not very enjoyable. Otherwise the sashimi was fresh!
