We liked the food. The service was excellent.
Was excited to go here but service was slow. We were there for 2.5 hours from start to finish. We asked for medium rare steak and got medium well and then well steak. Hair in the pasta. Calimari was under cooked and a little soggy and not crispy.. Only reason for 2 stars is the kids portions were good and they enjoyed their food. Unfortunately, we will not be eating here again. ?
Dinner was alright though the server's we not attentive at all. We had a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen messed up what was supposed to be a medium-rare steak and cooked it well-done, so that member of our group was very upset. He sent his steak back twice and it was still over-cooked the third time. Another of our group found a hair as soon as the plate was delivered. And another did not get her food until the rest of us were about finished eating. I had the mushroom ravioli, and it tasted really good but I don't think I will go back.
Went in here tonight to eat. There were maybe 2 other tables with people. We each ordered a bowl of pasta and it took over an hour to get our food. Over an hour for pasta.. in a restaurant that wasn't even busy. Our waitress was nice, but she only came to our table to bring us water, take our order and bring us food. When we were done eating I had to stand up and tell someone we wanted to pay because our waitress didn't wanna come back to our table. The food was good, but if I had to rate the service, it was a 1 out of 5. I didn't expect to sit inside a restaurant for 90 minutes. That's just too long for a quick casual meal. For this reason we won't return.
Our first time at Paliotti's and we had a great experience. We went at 5pm and I really enjoyed that until 5:30pm they offer two menu's and one has smaller portions, which I appreciate. Everything we ordered was hot and tasty! We will definitely go back.
Really impressed! I enjoyed the one in Abbotsford and this one is well on par, or better since I only went to the other one once! Nice atmosphere with lots of space. We had the mozzarella in meat sauce as an appetizer which was fantastic, and I had the tortellini in rose sauce for dinner which was also outstanding. Pear cheesecake for dessert was also a big winner. 10/10 would go back. Even my boyfriend was impressed with the pasta and he is not a fan of pasta normally!
lovely space to dine in... High ceilings great spacial volume and Mediterranean inspired decor. Goes perfectly with good Italian cuisine at reasonable prices. We have been several times now. The food has always been good to very good... service as been average to above average and once a bit below... good to have them in the neighborhood.
We decided to check out this restaurant after attending the theatre. We received professional, attentive service in a timely manner. The warm bread was excellent and was delivered to the table quickly after we ordered. We had appetizers, main meals and dessert. All were very good. We will go back as we received very good value for our money here...
There bread was good, haven't had olive balsamic vinegar dip in awhile. I ordered crab and prawn ravioli and it was good. Don't order steak there my friend say it doesn't taste good. Ribs are ok. Pasta portion is huge can feed two.
We had a lovely Mother’s Day early dinner. It was very quiet even though they were understandably busy. Our server was very attentive and not at all intrusive, happy too (nice to see). The food was delicious and we enjoyed our time there. Thank you to the team at Palioti’s.
