The staff is friendly. The food sucks Ate there on July 4. Its the 8th today andl my guts are still churning. Food poisoning. Missed 4 days work. Burger and shake cost me over $700. Avoid this place
We got there near closing so they didn’t have everything on the menu available anymore. Overall the burgers were better than your average fast food joint though a little bit more pricey. Great fries and the kids love the thick shakes. Friendly service.
Today I ordered a chicken burger, and was told only the beef burgers were customizable. That I could not choose to have pickles or onions. That the chicken burger came with set toppings. Since when? I have been coming here for years...since the location first opened in Chilliwack...This was always my favorite place to get a burger, whether I was in the mood for beef or chicken. And I told all my friends and family they had to check out this chain. I liked it because I got to choose my favorite toppings that I wanted, the buns were baked fresh, and the meat was cooked to order, so was always hot and fresh also.Well, unfortunately, they lost a customer today.Why offer ONLY the beef burgers to have whatever toppings you choose...chicken customers should get the same choices offered to them.
Defiantly gone down hill. Burger patty was super thin and flavorless. The buns were the thinnest I have ever seen and they charge an extra 1.29 to lettuce wrap a buger when lettuce is a free topping!Both bathrooms are out of service, fountian machine is out of service. Man this place was much better with the old owners, sad to see it in such bad state.
We've been here a couple of times and the food is overall good, we have not had a bad meal here each time. However, be prepared for a lengthy wait even if there are few people in the restaurant. Today was one of those examples, 40 minute wait for 1 burger combo and 1 salad - ridiculous. Coupled with the milkshake was plain vs. the banana we ordered, and the salad was made up of mostly 'yellow' lettuce taken from the center or core of the head and thus bitter - perhaps inexperience or unwillingness to waste was at play here. It was not worth going back to correct and wait another long stretch potentially again.I'm shocked by the complete ignorance of at least one other reviewer giving these folks a hard time for not 'checking vax passes' - are you really that completely stupid? #1 this restaurant does not fit the criteria to even be doing that, and #2 why in the heck would you support any business asking for personal health information that breaks at least 2 privacy laws - yes, it does - look up PIPEDA and so on. Restaurants have had nothing but a hard time with this silly overbearing response to the sniffles so the sooner all this ends the better and if you are so concerned about a business not asking for 'papers please', then STAY HOME.
While the food tasted good, I was a little shocked at how poor the service was. Ordered 2 burgers and fries to go, we were given a bag with 2 serviettes, the 2 burgers, and the fries literally tossed into the bag, loose, over everything!! Had to dig through hot fries to fish out the burgers and the the 2 limp serviettes, now soaked in grease, to be able to eat.
First off I want to say I really wanted to like this place, my partner and I have been wanting to try it out for some time now, and sadly got the opportunity today. We both ordered simple burgers, fries, and a bottled drink. Thought it was a bit pricey but figured maybe it was worth it. Not worth it AT ALL. By golly was it disappointing. Bun was borderline stale, grilled onions weren't grilled, beef patty was burnt, the fries were over salted yet bland somehow and soggy, and the horseradish was almost watered down, the bottled drinks were fine lol. The saddest part was they weren't following covid protocols. Yes, it's 2022 and it sucks we still gotta mask up indoors, but that's the rules. Sadly, this establishment didn't want to follow them and served an unmasked customer which was severely disappointing. Partner said they wished they got a refund. I don't blame them one bit. If you go there, just be careful, and who knows, maybe you'll have better luck?
It was missing coke. But, the salad is very good! this size was small and I was full because I took milk shake and soda together. The salad is a price, if you want protein, you pay another value.
I would give them a BIG FAT 0, but I had to give them 1 star.Hugely disappointed with Mooyah. Never going back. Should of gone to McDonald's. My family has been going to Mooyah since they opened, in Chilliwack. We have loved their food, expensive but worth every cent, not anymore. We raved about their food to our family and friends. We will definitely tell everyone, DO NOT eat there. Went there today Jan 2022, it was horrible. Buns were not fresh, they were smaller than before, topping not fresh, patties good, but small, fries were soggy, and only 3 different flavors in bottle pop. Not worth the money or our time. They have lost us as customers as well as our friends and family.
Best burgers in town! The beef is grilled just right, buns are gourmet. Fries are so good, fresh cut with a bit of crisp on the outside and nice and soft inside. This joint beats 5 guys all day long. Owners are super friendly .
