Disappointed. Compared to our previous visits our experience was not what we expected. Portion size has shrunk yet cost has increased, I understand costs have risen so I get it. But all 3 of the Maki rolls we ordered showed up warm enough to be concerned. Service was still friendly but the quality was less
I went yesterday ordered California roll & 2 spicy California rolls & asked them to be in seperate containers and only recieved two things.. when I order for my 2 daughters and myself food.So ending up giving my younger one my food spicy Cali rollsI also paid full price for all 3 rolls..Everything was chaotic yesterdayI get that but that wasn't cool.I tried calling last night (but it didn't go through because of what Rogers was dealing with)...I've tried leaving a voicemail this morning but you don't have that so Im writing this review.
I don't know what they do to their agadashi and tempura but it's amazing! Best ever. The wild salmon sashimi and rolls are also very good. Highly recommend for sushi in Chilliwack!
The food was fresh and good. Also, server was really friendly. I'm going to visit this place again definitely!
I love Maru Sushi!!!! It is top quality, creative, visually appealing sushi. The staff are always friendly and give great service. I highly recommend Maru Sushi!

Their food used to be much better before. We ordered bento lunch boxes today and were very disappointed. It was very so so... unfortunately didn't worth coming. I hope they will improve.
Friendly servers and very delicious food. There is a vast array of different menus to try. Establishment is very welcoming and warm. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
I did pick up and after all the reviews I've read I'd have to say I'm really NOT impressed. It's OK at best but not a 4 1/2 star quality. I'd give it a 2 1/2 but 3 giving it the benefit of doubt.Had the Gyoza app and Spider rolls... OK at BEST :|Good luck though! Maybe I'll try one last time eating in?
We are regulars to Maru and it used to be great. The last few times have been smaller portions and the food quality has changed. We also noticed the price has gone up quite a bit. It was already one of the more expensive sushi places in town but the quality justified that. Now it does not. I’m Not sure if has changed owners or chefs but unfortunately we won’t be returning
