Ordered 2 chicken teryaki rice bowl...Worse bowl ever! It’s cold and tastes horrible!The chicken and rice smelled very bad and I'm sure the chicken was cooked a long time ago and is old.We had to throw away the food without eating it.
Not only is the sushi delicious, but the staff are very nice and accommodating when I want to make substitutions. They are my go to place in the Metrotown food court.
The food was fresh and tasty. The sushi was constructed well with a very beautiful execution.
Quick service, reasonable pricing, friendly staff. Definitely one of the better options in the Metro food court.
Their sushi is always great but you have to try their salmon poke bowl. So good. Loaded and fresh and so filling.
This is a great little sushi place in the Metropolis at Metrotown Mall Food Court. My daughter wanted sushi and I was wary about this other sushi place. I have ordered from another Togo Sushi location before and thought why not try this location in the mall. Super convenient as it's in the food court and you can order online for pick up. Online ordering was easy and intuitive. You can find a seat and order online...especially handy when you have young kids! Website could have a picture of each roll so kids can see what the food will look like ? The prices are reasonable. I ordered California Roll, Chopped Scallop Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. I decided to pay in person, but you can pay online. Pickup said 15 minutes, waited a few minutes as there was a lineup, but order was ready when I got there. All the rolls are a little smaller than other sushi places. The California Roll was okay per my child. The Chopped Scallop Roll actually had chopped scallops and they were so tasty and yummy. The Spicy Tuna Roll was spicy, but not too spicy and I can actually taste the tuna. I was pleasantly surprised about the taste and quality of the rolls. I will definitely order from them again. They even have poke bowls and bento boxes around the $14/$15 range, I might give that a try next time ??
Ordered the bento box and it was decent except for the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was overcooked and the sauce was too sweet and had a gelatinous, slimy texture to it. Not good.
Very disappointing taste. Salmon and tuna tasted old and avocado roll was rock hard. Spicy mayo tastes overly sweet. To go sushi has always been my go to when I’m at the mall. Too bad.
I like the yam roll a lot! Nice and crispy, also nice that it’s vegan. Avocado roll is pretty good too, though sometimes it’s a little too ripe when served.
