I was in the area at lunch time and found this place. I ordered the veg. Samosa plate and was impressed. I was just expecting two plain samosas with some chickpeas on the side with sauce. It can out smothered in sauces with onion and was delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back here again. The is authentic Indian cuisine.

One is the authentic Indian food I’ve had in BC. Especially if you’re into spicy food ,ask them specifically to make it spicy and the chef will definitely make you fall in love with the food .

I usually really like the Veg noodles and Manchurian combo from here, but yesterday when I ordered, for some reason the noodles were tasting very tomatoish.. if that makes sense?! Spring rolls were ok, I enjoy it from the other restaurant I order from instead. Manchurian and bread pakora were really good?? giving 4 stars because of the weird tasting noodles!

The team at night shift today was so great. i was late from shift and they were closing almost but they still get done my order without being annoyed at all. food was yummy too. ??

I always try a new Indian restaurant that opens close to where I live. Having grown up in the North of England, you could say it's our national dish and the standards are really high. Sadly the food at Tasty Planet is not high quality Indian food. The rice pilau appears to be basmati rice with supermarket (yes supermarket) mixed carrots, corn and green beans. And it's very dry. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a sauce that can only be described as super-sweet and lacking in that wonderful rich flavour of a typical masala. On a brighter note, the pakoras and breads were decent enough. But that isn't enough to make me try this restaurant again.

I ordered paneer tikka and Amritsari kulche plate was really very flavourful, yummy, good portion size and it was served really piping hot which was amazing. Staff was very polite! Definitely recommend

Attempted to order the butter chicken combo, which has a menu price of $10.99, but the store attempted to charge me $13.00. They tried to rush through on the point of sale machine to the payment window so I wouldn't notice, but I clicked the back button anyways. When I asked them to correct the price, they said it was the lunch price, even though nowhere on the menu indicates a seperate lunch and dinnertime price. I understand they're willing to correct the price if you confront them on it, but it still doesn't seem ethical to hide the actual price of your menu. Other reviews mention this as well, but point out that you need to tell them you want to be charged the correct price.Much of the older reviews are for Donair Town, not Tasty Planet. They've certainly made this restaurant into a cozy environment but the lack of price transparency is an issue.

i ordered veg Smosas on Diwali for my friends. it was so good. All of my friends like and appreciate. this time taste was different and best. thanks

We had ordered two lunch combos: butter chicken and lamb curry. Attached are the updated menu prices. When we ordered the butter chicken combo, it rung up higher than what is listed but the staff made a correction so that it showed the correct price.Overall, the food was good. The combos came with rice, naan, onion salad, and the curry of your choice. Portions and taste were good compared to the value. We will definitely be back to try out other items.

Food quality is amazing, very flavourful, and tasty items on their menu. They never disappoint in terms of food quality and deliciousness . Very friendly staff !Highly recommended ?
