Their teriyaki is delicious and sizzling from the grill. A little too sizzling to be placed so close to me and splattered juices and sauce all over my phone, hands and arms. Agedashi tofu was pretty average. The drinks are pretty overpriced for a restaurant and the same amount as you would pay to drink at a bar or cinema. We would come back again but maybe not to drink!
Two of us went for lunch. They have a large menu at reasonable prices. Service was fast and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious.
Did you know it's possible to get a greasy sushi? It is at Sushi Yoi!Ordered a crunchy tuna roll take-out. Paid for a crunchy tuna roll, but did not get a crunchy tuna roll.Instead of spicy tuna inside the roll, as per menu, there was an oily tempura, shrimp I think. Couldn't tell.The whole roll was greasy and gummy, stuffed into an extra small plastic container.Pretty well matched the worst sushi I've ever had, which was served cold and hard on the plane.
Nice local sushi place with a full menu and quick service.
I am coming here just to review their Salmon Oshi - it is super delicious. I think it's the best I've had in the lower mainland. I can't comment on the other dishes but man is their Salmon Oshi amazing!!!!
It's a Korean-Japanese sushi restaurant. Something more variety to try than the usual sushi place.
Went there with my girlfriend after looking for sushi spots near where I was, and this place was rated highly by a lot of people. After eating there, I can see why people like it so much. The food was in good portion and the quality was great too. They have a cool build-a-combo where you pick 3 items and a miso soup for 13$. Really can't go wrong with that! Also had the tuna tataki and salmon aburi. Overall had a positive experience, and will definitely try again if I'm craving sushi near brentwood!
My favourite Sushi spot, food is good quality here and prices are cheap and staff are amazing and lovely. Literally what else do you want?
Gotta enjoy dining here in such a cool atmosphere, love the decorations of the interior. The food tastes fresh and the price is reasonable. Would definitely come back again.
Excellent experience of first time eating here. Prompt service, fair prices and portions, and constant green tea refills. Decent washroom and good family atmosphere. Will be back!
