Fresh ingredients and very nicely plated. Must try the inari pocket! The portion was generous and delicious ❤️ The staff and chef were extremely friendly. We were hungry and ordered too much to eat but was happy to have the leftovers for a second meal ? there were plenty of pics of the menu items around the restaurant so it's easy to see what you would want.
There's many good sushi restaurants in Burnaby and this is another one. Nothing I had was amazing but was good value and good flavour.I was nervous getting one of the box dinners as there's a few things I know I don't like and it listed chef's choice. My friend got it and I would try it if I go here again. It had multiple cuts of salmon and tuna nigiri, as well as some other fish.I tried the Boston roll Maki, stuffed inari, and saba nigiri. I'd never heard of a Boston before and liked it; lots of crunch. The Inari pocket with ceab meat was huge; I took 4 big bites to eat it. The saba was lightly picked. I enjoy a strong pickled flavour; this was nice too.
Nice mix of food. Nicely presented, pleasant service!Edit: went back for the first time "after COVID", was pleasantly surprised at how well they were able to keep up with the dinner service with the small staff that they had! There was one tiny mistake with the order, but I couldn't hold it against them as the food quality was amazing and came out in a timely fashion especially given the 2 (but mostly 1) server they had for all the people in there.This place definitely doesn't get the hype that a lot of other places in the area do, but definitely deserve the praise. Never a bad meal, great presentation, friendly attentive service, and great value! ?
This is by far the best quality sushi in the Burnaby Heights area. Very fresh and great variety of options. Highly recommended!
I love this gem of a place. Excellent service always and they are so honest!!! I had ordered dinner from here and they had forgotten a couple of items (kappa rolls l+ oshinko rolls), I didn't even call it in because I know that it happens sometimes and they were smaller items. They kept the receipt and had reminded me when I came in just now and is adding the missed items from last takeout to this one. Utterly impressed.
I've eaten here twice and got the sushi and sashimi box both times. It was delicious, fresh, and very filling! It's one of the more expensive dishes on the menu, compared to the others, but definitely worth it!
Yummy food. We usually get take-out and it's always fresh, and nicely packaged.
Great little restaurant with good food and employees that take pride in what they do. Been there several times in the past month and it’s been consistently good.
Simple place but very good sushi fresh and delicious never disappointed, one of my favorite place in North Burnaby.
The food is absolutely ? percent ? its intimate and the service is amaizing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a high standard for excellence when it comes to sushi
