I specifically noted that I did not want the sauce and green onions when I placed my order, and the receipt on the bag clearly stated my request, but the restaurant ignored the receipt and still put the sauce and green onions on the meal. And I can not imagine what this box of sushi rolls went through in the process of being delivered, they were all piled up together!

Been a customer with Sushi Garden for like 10 years and countless visits. Today I ordered a takeout, and man it really was such a disappointment. The salmon and tuna don was alright, though it came in as huge chunks and one plain rice (I put the rice in my own bowl as shown in pic). No seaweed, no fish roes, it appeared to be an unfinished dish but I chose to bear with it.The big letdown is the Yaki udon. I was shocked the moment I open the takeout box. Not sure if the picture can demonstrate the dish properly, but the box was half filled. I think I can even count the noodles in the box. It will take nearly 4 of these to fulfil a normal sized adult. Will never visit sushi garden again.

Service was super quick and efficient! The food also came out very fast and I was a little surprised. They had very nice ratios of rice to fish for the nigiri and sashimi pieces were fairly big.

Was really amazing Sushi so fresh and high quality I really enjoyed with my meal with my brother it's now our number one Sushi place Period.

Although the portions are big for what you pay, the quality has declined over the years. The hand rolls/cones had soggy seaweed, and all the fish was bland and fishy. The salmon in the spicy salmon roll was also quite grisly. It looked like the rolls were quickly put together without any care for quality.Would not be coming back here again, since I’d rather pay a tiny bit more to get significantly better sushi.

Staffs can be more friendly, food choices due to late ordering may be, lot of options are not there like red tuna. However, Good value base on the price you pay for the quality and size you get! Looking for deal for sashimi sushi lover like myself. Highly recommended.

I don't understand why most people hate on sushi garden for no reason! It's pretty yummy sushi in a laid back, comfortable and cozy vibe at great value with very good options across different types of sushi. Other sushi around this area is garbage or crazy over-priced which is quite weird for metrotown area.Overall, it tasted delicious and fresh with very efficient service and plentiful portions. The Roll cuts were a bit disproportionate but really doesn't bother me whatsoever.A great joint with great grub, a positive experience and happy to visit other sushigarden joints when the time arises.

For fast food like sushi its fine. Alaska rolls are popular. FYI its farm salmon. IMO, I won't get the spider roll from here ever again. For the price I thought it would contain more soft shell crab but it was probably a quarter of one. Not worth it.

This restaurant is known as value for money. Especially their combos, now they even have more selections, we choose the love boat as it has both sashimi and sushi. Generally the food is good, only the shrimp sushi is not very fresh, others are good. But the service definitely need to be improved, the waitress acted so cold without care. From entering the restaurant, after checking our vaccine card, she just casually pointed to the table and walked away, we weren't sure which table to sit, so can only assume the the one with tea and water on the table already. Through out our lunch, not much service provided. Even they come offered more tea one time, but the attitude was still bit rude. No wonder there is no line up at shop when we come now, I think guests would feel the difference and stop coming.

Their to-go service during COVID is unbelievably good.
