Always happy with our food here! Generous portions of fresh fish (not teeny slices of sashimi), very creative rolls, great online ordering system and timely pick up. Toro Sashimi, Island Roll and Hawaiian Beef were my favs. Their Kabocha (squash) Croquette is a must every time we order. We fed our party of 7 adults very full for $25 each ?. Can't wait to order again!

Sushi garden is literally the fast food of sushi restaurants! From sit down to ordering to arrival of first dish took about 10mins (the only hard part was waving a server down because they are so busy with takeout orders) the sashimi pieces are always thicker compared to other similar sushi restaurants. The tempura doesn't taste oily at all! My fav is definitely the chopped scallop cone, each bite is full of scallop ? first time ordering their deluxe chirashi don which is a mixture of sashimi on a bed of rice.

Most reasonably priced sushi I've seen in metro Vancouver area with fresh ingredients. We had salmon and amaebi shrimp sashimi and ended up ordering uni dishes. Nigiris met expectations as well. We also had tempura udon and it came with four pieces of tempura on the side (3 kinds of veg + shrimp). This will be my go to sushi place from now on.Edit: went here again and their sushi and sashimi are still good, but kimchi yaki udon was not good. Better stick to their main dishes. Other udon with broth was okay, but kimchi yaki udon felt like it was leftover thrown in together.

I had been to this location for over 20 times. Today I was very disappointed. The black hair, without glasses, short, male staff was very rude. Other staffs were helpful and nice except for this guy. I’m wondering why they hire him???? Also the salmon head smells not fresh, Tuna was rotten…we had diarrhea after that. No more next time!! (Already reported to Fraser Health)

Ver nice and accesible menu. Diverse options for different diets. Very friendly staff. It was crowded but we didn’t wait long for a table. They do have Covid 19 protocol and ask for proof of vaccination before enter.

Top 3 go to casual sushi dining restaurants in my opinion. Reasonable portions and prices. This location has decent amount of seating. I usually order their spider roll, udon, and spicy sashimi. This day, we got the love boat set which included miso soup. Enough for 2 ppl to share.

I heard that Sushi Garden is one of the best sushi restaurants in Burnaby, and it was just amazing! This seafood salad we ordered was too good to be eaten. Also, its fair price can be a bonus, even in a snowy day. Its interior is modern and clean, and the personnel seem friendly. They will be more welcoming when you speak Korean or bring your Korean friends, haha. Anihaseyo! Come sa amida!

I have ordered several times from the Metrotown Sushi Garden and have enjoyed it every time. I ordered from Highgate last night for my husbands birthday. The sushi did not hold it's shape and was difficult to eat. Everything tasted sweet. What's with all the sugar? I ordered wild salmon rolls and could barely detect any salmon. I do not support salmon farming and would have not ordered any salmon if what I am getting is mostly rice in a premium priced roll. The yam rolls were predominantly breading and there was barely enough wasabi for two people let alone 4. I asked for extra wasabi which was not included. I cannot use soy so always get extra wasabi. All in all, a huge fail, Sushi Garden Highgate. I payed for a birthday dinner comprised mostly of rice and breading. Had it not been take out, I would have sent it back. I am considering returning the leftovers as we couldn't eat it. Every piece tasted the same. SWEET! Nov.22/21 Staff was nice so, one star. Plus no option for zero stars.

Ordered takeout. Reasonable prices for the portion size! Haven't been to a Sushi Garden in years but a return after so long didn't disappoint. The Assorted Sashimi had a good variety and the cuts of the salmon/tuna in particular were large. The small amaebi were sweet and delicious! The Chirashi Don had the rice in a separate container, allowing us to add everything in to a bowl at home. The Yaki Udon had a good amount of beef and it sat on aluminum foil (not sure if it was to retain heat or to prevent grease/sauce from soaking into the styrofoam). Either way, it was very tasty and also came with some different veggies for texture! Will definitely be back!
