Update: still am excellent place to get budget friendly sushi. The high traffic volume ensures fresh products and consistency. Still a place that I like to drop by and grab a couple rolls.I have been here many times throughout the years since they first expanded from their original location near Metrotown Metropolis. Sushi Garden fills in a niche that is popular in Vancouver: low cost non-authentic sushi made by non-Japanese people. They are usually run by Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc. With that said, within this category, Sushi Garden is a dominant player. They provide exactly what the customer is looking for: fresh inexpensive sushi, usually in larger sizes that feel like you got a bang for your buck! We come here regularly for those reasons and for that, we are always satisfied. We normally go for their dynamite rolls, chopped scallop rolls, spicy tuna rolls, salmon sashimi, Toro sashimi, seafood salad, and house rolls. Those items have never let us down. We try to avoid the dinner eating time as they are packed. We do take out to avoid that issue and to save time. Definitely a nice addition to the neighborhood.

ありがとう !!A successful second visit at my second Sushi Garden location! As always from my experience with them, a huge dining area with very efficient service dicing up tasty grub as well as ginormous fat portions, freshly stuffed rolls among wholesome and plentiful sashimi cuts are their key to consistency which is a great experience at good value for money.Menu caters well for many different tastebuds and showcases a mix of hot and cold options for veggies, pescatarians and meat eaters with some edgy and quirky roll infusions.Note, there is no brown rice option at this location. The tea unfortunately was on the weak side. It'd also be awesome if they had lunchtime deals or even Bento options to mix things up. I ended up on the Dynamite Combo with Edamame 枝 which was enough for one person. However, thumbs up would visit again in a heartbeat and chowed down every last bite of that grub with a huge grin on my face. Solid location with plenty of parking and walking distance from the mall makes this a solid go-to option.アダム

Every single piece of nigiri was giant and delicious. I am a big fan of sushi garden. The quality of salmon is always so fresh and big. Tobico(flying fish roe) is also in a good shape. Alaska roll is my favorite in this restaurant. The Alaska sauce plays important role. And I love yam tempura roll. Sweet potato tempura is really crispy and sweet.

Liked their California and Dynamite rolls. Price is also very reasonable.

*ROTTEN FISH* THIS PLACE WILL KILL YOU. Cooks DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR SAFETY. DOUBLE CHECK ANY FOOD YOU GET FROM THIS PLACE - if you still want to eat here.

management should learn the law before they apply it! refusing visitors entry without their passports along with their vaccine passport which is not necessarily as long as they have other physical photo ID issued by government. poorly manage along with unfriendly staffs, on top they serve chips cups for tea which cut my lip!!

Sushi is always fresh. One of the best sushi place. Friendly staffs.

They served cold tea when we were seated. The sushi was average like any other regular sushi place. I was particularly disappointed in their tipping system. They have a default of 25 or 30% for tip or dollar value. When we were about to pay they asked whether we want to tip 25 or 30%. It felt very forced.

Haven't been in a long time, nothing changed quick service and the food was amazing!!!

Tried this place for first time for a work lunch. Portion sizes were pretty decent. Everything tasted pretty good. The rice in sushi could be a bit more refined as it felt pretty chunky. Otherwise good food and timely service.
