I’m not usually one with a sweet tooth but I always have room for dessert at Sugar Lab! Their durian and earl grey thousand layer cake are a must try. Their fruit tea is also super adorable and tastes refreshing. The ambiance is chill and it’s a lovely place to hang out with friends.
I came here with a friend to try out their crepe cakes. Really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was also great. The Serradura pudding cup and the mango crepe cake, both were great. Would definitely come back again
Best mango shaved ice I've had in vancouver. The prices are a bit high and they didn't make just a regular iced lemon tea which I wanted but the hot milk tea and cold brown sugar milk tea were both very good
Was delicious. Unfortunately they were sold out of all cakes and pancakes.
Disappointed…I ordered the fruit tea I always drank, and while waiting, I accidentally saw the kitchen covered with curtains. But she didn't wear a mask in the kitchen, and she tasted the drink I ordered twice with the same spoon. What did I just see with my own eyes? I couldn't believe it. She took a drink from the kitchen and gave it to me, and I threw it away without taking a sip. I didn’t wanna argue with them, and waste my time..It was one of my favorite places and I won't go again.
We love this place. We wanted to come here long time ago and this is it!I love the durian. Lots of people hate the smell but it tastes good. So those who hate the smell this dessert has only a very small spoon full so you can try what it tastes like without the horrible smell lots of people hate.Hot tea tasted good and it did not over power the sweets we were eating. It complemented it. I got Peach tea and it was lovely.Tiramisu crepe cake is good but it's so expensive! We were talking about how much staff need to cook this to get the consistency of each crepe layer and the filling. It does feel flat just coming from just knowing and love what a tiramisu cake is but i still like the taste. it depends on the person if they like it or were they looking for a cake mousse dessert but it's not.We will be coming back here even if it's expensive! And i'll update my review.
Friendly staff, cute decor but most of all really delicious cakes and drinks! Personally recommend their mango and strawberry crepe cakes ??

Would return just for the durian crepe cake. So fragrant (if you’re into durian) and creamy and light.
The durian layer crepe was so yummy, real durian meat with detail. Also the Mango crepe filling with thick mango meat and whipping cream covered with thin crepe sheet, so delicious. Mango milk shake tasted fresh and smooth. Definitely we will go again.
