i've been going to this place since it first opened and i still buy food from here very frequently. it's one of my favourite local food joints. it's quality food.now that the business is so successful and other locations have opened, i hope the price can drop a bit.
This place is tucked away under the main row of restaurants up at SFU, but I'm really glad I found it. This place, the Vietnamese restaurant on the side, and Togo Sushi are the only on-campus options for great food that isn't junk.I've had 2 or 3 bowls from them, and they've consistently tasted really nice and fresh. Would highly recommend the spicy ahi tuna on rice with shoyu sauce.Only reason I'm taking off a star is because of the tiny scoops of fish they provide. 2 scoops is a pretty average amount of fish in a poke bowl I'd say, and you need to pay extra for the 2nd scoop. You end up with tons of rice and no fish after being about halfway through the bowl.
Delicious poke bowl for a good value price considering the portions are pretty good! Build your own bowl for less than $15. The staff was very friendly and helpful when explaining the sauces and different toppings. Would definitely recommend!
Good tasting poke with an average portion size for the price. Only thing is they don't give you much fish.
Built my own poké bowl today, my favourite is the spicy mayo scallops, they even have fish roe included that gives it an extra crunch!! Will try their signature bowls next time!
Steve’s Poke is my go to spot on SFU campus for lunch. Reasonably priced, fresh poke and very authentic flavours. I’ve been coming for a while and I always come back and can’t say enough great things. The team behind the poke bar are also amazing as well! They always serve you with a smile and I love that.

This is the best place to eat on campus! Fresh fish and yummy toppings! It was a bit spend at $16 for my bowl but it made me so full I ate half for lunch and half for dinner, so for $8 a meal it’s great! Would definitely go back! Zairech was really friendly and made me a great bowl as it was my first time and I asked him to surprise me!
