Pani puri, chaat and other Indian street foods here is great. VEGETARIAN! Reasonable prices, friendly service. Lots of new things to try. Get the thali (platter) for a taste of several things. Also, mango lassi and mango falooda very filling & refreshing. There are some pictures out front but it would be nice to include pictures in the menu, as a lot of the items are lesser known unless you grew up with it.Pani puri ?Samosa chat ??Sambhar idli ?? (spongy rice cakes in a spicy stew)Paneer Bhurji dosa ?(not spicy)Spring veg uttapam (rice flatbread with finely chopped toppings and side of sambhar)
I wish i could give no star to this restaurantTerrible service. She was very rude and food came late i can understand they where busy but if they have sitting for that many people, they should be prepared however in the end server came to the table spray while i was sitting there and cleaned the table( she need training) moreover after waiting for 40 min for our order server came to our table asking did i write your order or you didn't give it lol?But want to say that if they need to grow there business! They need good staff
I want to give a zero rating but it's not allowed. This is a pathetic branch of an otherwise great chain. I ordered an Amritsari Masala Dosa. They stuffed some salad and cheese into the dosa and served it. When challenged they said the salad and cheese was 'Amritsari Masala' (photos below). No wonder the place was so empty on a Sunday. One word recommendation - AVOID(Go to House of Dosa for infinitely better meal)
Yummy yummy in my tummy. So so so good! Amazing delicious ?? so satisfying. Better than good, the best.
I ordered Chinese which was too spicy. Also It was cold as ice. Then I ordered Ragda chole, it was okay. Kashmiri paan is good though. Overall it is not that good.
Was in the mood for a heavy snack with something to drink and decided to try this place out! I got the Samosa Chaat and a Khus Lemonade. The carbonated lemonade was refreshing. It contained basil seeds which I liked but the drink was a tad too sugary for my tastebuds. The Samosa Chaat came with two pieces of potato and pea filled samosas slathered in chickpea curry, whipped yogurt, sweet tamarind sauce, hot chutney and garnished with raw red onions and tomatoes. It was a flavour explosion with every bite! Definitely a heavy mid-afternoon snack but was worth the calories. =)
I have a great experience with royal paan.I am vegetarian so it is great place to try food. My favorite one is mango falooda.I tried Bombay burger, Bombay grilled, pani puri is so tasty. must try the Amritsari masala dosa. It is so delicious. I recommend to all try the tasty food at royal paan.
My experience wasn't very good. The restaurant is relatively new and clean, with a few staff. There weren't many tables, and somehow the service was almost non-existent. Awkward to flag the server over with the tall walls. Food was mediocre, however I did enjoy their masala fries (although the fries were luke warm upon arrival). The price is also on the high side for what it's worth.
Excited that we have royal paan in Burnaby now.We ordered (ubereats) Amritsari Uttapam, Rabri Falooda and Calcutta meetha paan. Everything tasted delicious.Rabri Falooda is a must must try.Uttapam looked like a pizza and was tasty but it was different.Must try!
