The best vietnam style rice noodle in the world except hanoi street food
WHAAT!!! How can the sushi and the pho both be soo good!!
Been here before but only had their Japanese food. This time I tried their Bo kho and found that it was the best Bo kho I've had in a restaurant. Will likely come back for more when I have the craving for it.
I’m a 64-year-old man and I have been going to some of the best restaurants in the world for the last 40 years. I got ago tell you, if you’re on Burnaby Mountain come to Japoloand you will not be disappointed!!!!
Ordered 2 rice plates; 1 lemongrass chicken and 1 pork. Portion sizes are incredibly small but the price kind of reflects that compared to other Vietnamese places. Spring rolls weren't that great and the chicken still had skin on it which I wasn't a fan of. Overall is was OK, hence the 3 stars. Picture is chicken rice plate. Also the missing spot in the corner was where the fish sauce was.?
Friendly service.However, the miso soup, pho, lemongrass chicken, deep fried rolls were way too salty. Otherwise the food would have tasted pretty good.Some may be turned off because one of the staff doesn't wear a mask, but do masks really work?If they cut back on the salt, I would love to come back to try the Japanese food next time too.
It was alright. The service was good.But one thing that they can improve on: the chef and waiters need to wear a mask when there are customers eating in the restaurant...this should not be news to the restaurant...disappointed
I’ve never have any disappointments with the food, always with the right position. Taste great all the time.
Very impressed with Pho Japolo. I was wondering which they would do best: Vietnamese or Japanese dishes, but we tried both and everything was great. Some of the best chicken wings my kids have had as well (they are now big fans of Pho Japolo). Gyoza had a nice thin wrapper and was cooked perfectly. Also had Vietnamese style Rice plate with chicken and a bowl of Pho. They were friendly and very accommodating to requests from the family. The fellow who brought out the food looked genuinely pleased when we mentioned how much we liked various things: he really seems to care that people are liking what they create. We will definitely be back even though it is a bit more of a drive than we would make for a bite out: the freshness and flavors make it worth it.
Has always been a great place for good food. Restaurant is clean, owner is friendly. Great place for large bowls of steaming hot soup.
