Solid little family-run establishment with a decent menu, high quality food, and fast service. The ambience is very cute and intimate while not feeling crowded. We had the pho and a salad roll, both of which were delicious and at a reasonable price.
First time trying Pho. We enjoyed the flavours and we could not finish as they serve a lot! May separate more the basil leaves and improve the menu presentation
Geat find!! reasonable price and tasty food. - I tried the lemongrass chicken and pork chop with vermicelli and rice! Will definitely be back soon !
Wow! We ordered take out tonight (weather appropriate for Pho...windy, hailing, rain.)Ordered Rare Beef and Rare Beef with Meatballs Pho - prices very competitive, broth very flavourful, large portions, meat cut perfectly thin.Spring Rolls - proper rice paper rolls, not too thick and not too thin, well balanced flavours. Can't wait to try again, very happy with our meal.
I am quite shocked that Pho Century does not have 5 stars! We have gone to countless Vietnamese restaurants in the lower mainland, and hands down, this is my favourite place. It is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant whenever we are craving Vietnamese food. I would highly recommend to anyone that has a hankering for delicious Vietnamese food. From their pho to their rice/noodle combos, there is no dish from Pho Century that you could go wrong in picking. The quality of the Vietnamese food is amazing and the taste is even better! Hands down, best Vietnamese restaurant in Burnaby and the lower mainland in general!
Pretty decent Vietnamese and pho restaurant.Very limited vegetarian options. They only has one soup, the tomatoes shrimp "bun rieu" which is made with a vegetarian broth. Everything else is made with meat and or meat broth.I would say their rice combos are my go to. I love the fragrant and grilled meats along with the fried shrimp paste on cane sugar! You can chew/suck on the cane sugar to extract the remaining juices!Parking is free in the small parking lot on their property. They speak Vietnamese and English here.Delivery available.Asthetic plating.Washrooms ok
What a great take out that did not disappoint! I happen to be in South Burnaby for appointment and needed to grab lunch. The beef bone pho piqued my interest so I went here for take out. I ordered bun bo hue and spring roll as well, the other must order items for me to try a Viet noodles place. Once home in Coquitlam, the food still held! The noodles didn't fall apart like Pho99 in Pinetree Coquitlam (great dine in but take out noodles just breaks apart). The beef bone noodles was fun to eat and broth was nice and light. The bun bo hue flavor was surprisingly good! It is so hard to find one that tastes good (it should have a seafood/fishy smell taste to it and not just spicy) without having to go to Vancouver or Richmond. The only minus was that the pork hock was just a small slice of hock instead of a piece of hock. The fried spring roll was so good!! It taste more authentic with crab meat in it and the spring roll skin is the right kind. Too bad I live so far away otherwise this will definitively be my go to take out place.
Food is absolutely fantastic.Service great
3.7 is a joke !!! The food was absolutely amazing on every level . The deep fried spring roll was to die for as it’s giving Filipinos a run for the money .Keep up the fantastic food as this is my 2nd Skip the dishes order .PS : I am Canadian
Their grilled meats are super tasty! The smoky flavour makes it more flavourful. The portion of rice dish and Pho Bowl are huge, good to share. I can’t finish by myself.Number 3 - BBQ lemongrass chicken & pork chop is my most favourite here. The meats are very juicy. The taste is right on point. I don’t even need the fish sauce. If you order togo, you will get 10% off.
