This place has been a mainstay in my neighborhood for years. They raised the price by quite a bit due to Covid, which is fine. What's not fine is discovering purple lipstick on your cup of water after you already drank 3/4 of the cup. I don't have high standards for service or cleanliness. I couldn't care less. I only take the time to give negative reviews when the restaurant deserves an Olympic gold medal for poor cleanliness or service. Is it THAT hard to wash a cup properly?Do yourself a favour. Do not eat here. It is hazardous to your health. Go to McDonald's instead... or anywhere else for that matter. Of the late night options in Burnaby, this one just got taken off the list.Just in case they try to respond and make something up, I came here on Saturday, Feb 19 at 9:30 PM. There were 4 staff that I saw. No one else was in the restaurant. I had absolutely no other interactions other than coming in, showing my vaccine card/ID, them bringing me my water and my noodles, and me paying. I was not rude to the staff. I paid the full amount and 12% tips.
First time here. It was good. Not busy there, so service was quick. I got the large bowl....lots to eat, and was tasty for sure. Try it out.
I come here all the time. Since covid, most time I ordered take out. There couple times, I try to dine in. The server was a guy work at midnight. He gave us bad attitude for no reason. Be honest this is not the way you treat your customer. If you don't like people come after midnight, change your business hours!!!
Whatever you order make it spicy you won't regret it!
Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. One of my Vietnamese Co workers gives it an 8 it 10 and complimented them on their homemade sauces. The food is fresh, served quickly and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.
The broth here I believe is chicken based, and has it's own spiced flavor uncommon to other restaurants. Fresh basil, however meat was a bit tough to chew through. Otherwise a tasty bowl of soup.
Awesome!Literally a triumph. I had the beef and brisket pho and it was delightful. Fresh-tasting, tender meats. Wonderful. I'd go here again and order sometime probably too!

1. I ordered lemon grass chicken with rice. She said it came with spring roll ($16.5ish). I asked her if they have the non spring roll option which can be cheaper. She said no and it's the same price even without spring roll. But it's on their menu (non spring roll option is $14.5ish) which I didn't know. I was TRICKED to spend $2 more per item.2. poor packaging. I ordered take out. The soup container started leaking the moment I left the restaurant and then the bag leaked. the soup went all over my car.3. it's pricy. I ordered 4 items and cost me $63.
I ordered the S5. Boi's Spicy Noodle Soup - Bun Bo Hue through DoorDash. So it really was bad packaged. I didnt get the whole refund. So someome from restaurant and dasher werent profisional and qualified to not solve the issues.
