Our favorite place to go! We always order from here whenever we want Korean Fried Chicken as they always cook their Chicken fresh on-the-order and their sauce/marinates are amazing. We usually order takeout but after dining in, we are never ordering takeout again as the Owner/manager "Andrew" was very welcoming and nice (and sometimes gave us items on the house, wink-wink).Would recommend the Hot Devil or Original Spicy, Garlic and Snowing Cheese!Thanks and we will be coming back again!
Lougheed is filled with Korean fried chicken options and this place shouldn’t be missed! The owner is very nice and was social towards us and other customers. As for the food, i have never tried snow cheese onion rings before and I think they are a must try. The yangyeom was crispy with a stronger garlic flavour which is nice. Will be coming back to try more flavours.
Ordred thru doordash. Chicken tastes good and crispy enough. I think what makes korean chicken special is creative sauces. For that, spicy chicken was so delicious. It was just as I expected, yet the regular fried chicken was not that special. I could not tell if this was authentic Korean chicken. And, each piece of them was so small. Legs were fine but how can they be cut into small pieces and stated as they were 8 pieces per order.. I ordered 2 half orders but the portion was just like a snack for 2 people. If the portion can be improved, I am willing to order more often.
My new favorite spot! The breading on the chicken is thinner than the traditional dredging, and ultraaaa crispy. The chicken is super juicy and flavorful. My favorite was the snow chicken. If you don't want to share with your girlfriend, order the hot and spicy ??. They don't play around with spice here. Really impressed with this place.
I was a bit unsure about Korean Fried Chicken, didn’t know how to order it, or what was good. This was one of the best experiences! The owner helped us pick out what was most popular, offered up advice and answered all our questions. The food was AMAZING!!! I will absolutely be going back for more. This was not typical fried chicken! Would recommend 100%
Got three different flavors of boneless chicken. The rice cake mixed with the chicken is a nice touch! The flavor wasn’t very heavy, and seemed to taste like healthier than other Korean fried chicken places.Friendly and efficient staff.
The reviews didn't dissapoint - the chicken at Pelicana is fantastic, juicy and very flavourful. The woman who took my order recommended the soy chicken and I'm very glad I listened. The spicy chicken was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy - not to much of either. See you again :)
A really good place to get korean fried chicken. The staff are really friendly in the restaurant and were very polite with us the entire time.We got a kimchi fried rice and two kinds of fried chicken, the staff recommended the best tasting ones to us and they were not lying.The rice was really satisfying and the chicken was really delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend coming to pelicana! Get the snowing cheese chicken, the cheese makes the chicken taste even better!
By far one of the better Korean fried chicken places to exist around here. Though sometimes the dishes are different temperatures and leads to one of us at the table burning our mouths a bit. The flavour can be a little strong without other appetizers and about 2 half size plates are enough for 2-3 people depending on how much each person can eat. Place has a good atmosphere too; place was decorated for Christmas last time we went and as always good music and Kpop videos playing. Wish we could actually hear the song playing but it's okay.Overall good experience and food but decide for yourself if you think you can handle the strong flavour in too large a quantity.
The chicken here is so good, I moved to another city and I still miss it.Unbelievably good flavour, nice sauces, nice spice and so crispy and delicious. You will love it!Very reasonably prices and huge portions too.
