A small place with a good selection of gelato and sorbetto.Being lactose intolerant myself, I typically have to limit myself to non-dairy options, however Nuvola has a great spread of sorbetto options. All sorts of fruit flavours are on offer, and you can have 2 flavours at a time, so what's not to like?They also have 2 patio tables outside that seat 3 in the shade. Perfect for taking a gelato break on a hot summer day.
We wanted dessert after dinner so we walked a couple blocks over to check out Nuvola Gelato & Dolci.18 gelato and sorbetto flavours to choose from. Prices for cups are $5.95 (small) to $7.95 (large).- Regular cup ($6.95) - we went with the blackberry sorbetto and passionfruit gelato. Blackberry was the better of the two; good fruity flavour. Unfortunately, the passionfruit was odd. They put a dollop of puree on top but the gelato itself was plain.Stick with Nuvola's sorbetto options.
Lovely owner, great gelato. This is my favourite gelato place around. The ingredients that are used are high quality, the product is always fresh and the place is sparkly clean. I just love this place.
Hands down…the best gelato place in this neighbourhood. It’s opened by an Italian family (I think??), so their stuff is legit. Highly recommend the pistachio.

Wow wow this place reminds me so much of the Italian ice cream parlours in Europe.The Owner is super nice and the taste of the Hazelnut gelato is to die for. Will be back with bell's on.
Got a cone, ice cream is very good however the discretion used to fill your cone could use some reviewing. Single scope is not filled enough. When questioned about the amount put in the cone, the person said "I know the right amount". My two cents, put more if someone questions it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Very pleasant gelato experience. What stood out to me the most was the texture. They allow for tastings of flavors and they also create custom gelato cakes and have gelato infused caffeinated beverages as well. A must-try location.
My favorite ice cream/gelato spot in Burnaby and I've tried all the popular locations. Been coming here since the grand opening. The owner is from Northern Italy and he's there 99% of the time serving customers. Gelato there is very authentic! They are always rotating different favors. Don't bother trying to park on Hastings and just park on the side street (Beta Ave).
We picked up a pint of gelato to go and the service was very friendly and the gelato was delicious!! The quantity of gelato given is very generous:)
