The website says it takes American express but it doesn't. IMO that's the worst kind of business practice especially for small local shops because if they are misleading their customer on something like this, imagine what else they are doing behind closed door. I used uber eat for my order, which wasn't bad and I thought I would make this my go to place since I moved to Vancouver from Burnaby but I will have to find another spot.
I order food from this place server also time, and I’d say always satisfied with fresh ingredients sashimi and sushi. I give it a five star because I can tasted the quality food with efforts made from chef. I live far therefore I ordered from UberEat, Well done!! The foods are Delicious and amazing!! Great place!! I will order again!!
There was a deal on a delivery app - oshi for around $6-8.We tried salmon oshi, toro oshi and scallop oshi.The sizes were very small. Usually oshi is tall with a middle section (eg. usually salmon oshi has smoked salmon in the middle) but this was just one tier. I wouldn't buy this normally from here because they charge the same price as other places but are much smaller.The taste is not bad, especially the salmon and scallop. The toro was very dry. The rice was not well seasoned and tasted almost like just regular rice so if the top part of the oshi (fish + sauce) didn't have enough flavor, then it tasted very bland.

I ordered a party tray to share in my office, it is in great size and tasty. All my colleagues love it. Great for party too.
Great quality sushi with awesome service
Phoned ahead to see they had non seaweed paper. Answered with "hello?" I'm like, "is this the sushi restaurant?" Response, "huh?" Two tries later I established that it was indeed the sushi bar I was looking at online. So then I ask, "do you have rice paper instead of seaweed?" Answer, "Huh?" I'm sure you get the idea. After several more tries I just hung up.
Delicious sushi and other Japanese dishes for a great price. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. I often order bento #2 and salmon and tuna combo.
Nu Sushi Bar is my new favorite place. Great price and delicious sushi served on nice Japanese dishes. Great service too. Highly recommended
