I ordered takeout this night and I came in 10 minutes early….yeah it was my fault. So I guess that’s the reason why I can’t even stay inside to wait when it’s cold and rainy out there. There was no line up or group waiting. The food was good but the policy here……I don’t wanna judge, but this is the only time in my life the waiter literally just kick me out.
Getting very expensive to dine here. A beef noodle soup costed me arm and leg, $18. I live in the age that it costed only $12.?Though the noodle soup tasted very good, but not worth that much. Customer services were average, lack of smiles (maybe I couldn’t see through the masks). It will be my last time here unless the prices have came down.
The service is excellent with very responsive and friendly staff. Food quality is good. Many more parking spaces than it used to be but still need to beat the rush or otherwise you will have to wait 20 mins for parking spot.If you are trying this restaurant for the first time, recommending going there during less busy hours so you don't get put off by the lack of parking spots. You will enjoy the foods and services more.
A very bad experience today.I went with a friend of mine there today at 6 pm, the atmosphere was nice, and we were greeted and served some complimentary tea. We had few questions to the nice waitress and she had to go to the kitchen to check what some of the dishes contains: since the menu doesn’t list it. Food came within 20 minutes, we both agreed it was nothing special and just ok. The waitress checked on us twice to make sure that we liked our food.As we were leaving, my friend asked for a container to pack her leftovers and we were told there’s a charge of 25 cents for each container (something we have never heard of) and when we asked to pay we were told we can’t use the machine for any transaction less than $25 which made absolutely no sense.As we left, my friend’s car was blocked by another car, so we waited there. Then the worker who was taking the to go orders said “you got your food, please leave” so we told him we’re waiting for the car that’s blocking us, he didn’t apologize for what he said neither did the other car owner did after he came to move his car.We will definitely not be coming back or supporting this business.The only reason for two stars and not one is the very kind waitress.
Authentic Taiwanese food! Enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, kind and attentive servers, and food came fast. Will definitely come back here next time I’m back in Canada! They have stinky tofu (pieces were a bit small but flavor was still on point); it was tasty!
It was first time to visit here. I ordered “special home style beef shank noodle soup” for pick up.This soup was amazing. 5 big pieces of beef, a lot of noodles, fresh vegetables… Soup was simple but tasty.Also, the staffs were friendly and it didn’t take long to receive my order even though there were many customers in the restaurant.I will be back here again and try other menu!! Thank you for delicious food!
One of the only taiwanese food options in the north Burnaby area. They have a large menu covering beef noodles to street food to hotpot variations.Definitely, worth checking out at least once.
Excellent Asian comfort food!
Tried the thick soup with lamb and egg noodles. Loved it! Very different flavours compared to what I'm used to. The beef shank soup is the specialty and also very good and flavorful.Fast and friendly enough service. Big portions for a reasonable price.
