I haven’t tried many Korean restaurants, thus I am no reference when it comes to Korean cuisine. With that being said, I like the food at Midam, I have tried a few items of their menu such as the steak salad, bibimbap and the bulgoki. They were all good. The restaurant itself has a very different vibe, it has a lot of basketball stuff all over the place, the owner must be a Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls fan. If you are into Korean food and basketball stuff, that’s the place for you.

I went to Midam Cafe on last Saturday night. I went there with my new friend from Singapore. He told me that he wishes to try this cafe for a long time. The interior view of the restaurant is gorgeous, I am thinking if the boss love basketball and NBA stars so much ??We order a fried chicken with garlic sauces and a budae pot as our main course. The pot was in a huge proportion and the food was great honestly. I realized why there is a long queue outside the cafe.Afterward, we order an OREO shaked ice as our dessert and it tasted delicious. We couldn’t expected we spent almost 3 hours inside the restaurant. All in all, the waiters were nice and the food was great.

Tasty and chill vibe. Food was great. We had the UFO and it was perfect for 2 people for dinner.

Came here for dessert, Good service, relatively good food. The only thing that was an abomination is the rice cake with one slice of processed cheese (see attached picture) for $8 it is the biggest waste of money. I highly recommend the tiramisu.

Bar setting offering drinks, desserts and Korean main courses. Cool atmosphere.....you are surrounded by basketball memorabilia.

Had to wait a little on a Friday evening. Great food with generous portions. Press the button at the table and service is almost instant. Most other places just throw you the to-go containers if you wanna take leftovers but our server packed up our hotpot for us (messy business). Will be visiting again!

I've only been here for desserts which were great, and the service was good. Their washroom only allows 1 person at a time so you could be waiting a long time..

Came here to try the bingsu (korean shaved frozen milk). The seasme red bean one was good! Lots of toppings. First time I've seen it in the greater Vancouver area.Their Oreo bingsu was subpar compared to bingsoo places.Could use more mochi though for both.

Dessert was very delicious as it’s one of my go-to places in K-town area. I am sad though that there is no longer the sizzling hot green tea ice cream dessert. That was one of my favourite but decided to try to green tea croissant waffle instead. They advertised it as green tea, but all there was was a scoop of green tea ice cream. Wish they included more green tea in it or even had green tea flavoured croffles ??‍♀️other items ordered: strawberry mochi toast with ice cream and the tiramisu parfait

Food was great, but if you have a 2-hour seating limit, it's your responsibility to let the customers know about it when they are seated, or at least come around 30 minutes before to take the last call for food/drinks. Don't just come suddenly with a bill telling us that we have to pay and leave immediately.
