It's cash only. Chinese bakery's in Chinatown and Richmond are more affordable but this is the best chinese bakery for the area
The seasonal fresh mango cake here is a must - order at least a day in advance. The owners and staff provide great customer service - always easy to call in to order a cake. Baked products made fresh every morning.
What a disgusting cake we received! We bought a large fresh mango cake to celebrate my mom’s birthday and the mangos inside the cake was all discoloured. We always buy our birthday cakes here and now there is no going back. I should’ve listened to the recent reviews. The owner of this bakery doesn’t seem ethical to me.
TL DR - Do NOT buy birthday cakes here!!Ordered chestnut cake for wife’s 50s birthday as she wanted chestnut. The cake is filled with mostly cream and very little chestnut, despite the fact that we explicitly told them to cut down the cream when ordering. To make things worse, cream is not fresh either. Sorry no pictures as half of cake is in garbage now. Better get from saint Germaine or T&T instead. Will never order cakes from this place again.
I've always liked their cakes. They are yummy and have perfect amount of sweetness. Price is also great. I would recommend this to anyone who loves eating good bakes.
I have been to this bakery for many years. Since it is a no-nonsense Asian bakery, I have low to zero expectations on customer service. However, after this cash-only premise refusing to take a $.25 coin from me complaining that it was too dirty, I think I have enough. I like their baked goods, but not enough to tolerate being humiliated.
Mango fresh slice cake is juicy, not too sweet and has a great flavour. Just love it! Thank you!
They don’t give you receipts unless you ask. But still, wrong charged for 200% on my order and didn’t admit, even I show my receipt.Against CASH ONLY, which help them cool the books.Certainly won’t visit!

I used to love their cakes and bakery here, but after the last visit I don't think I'll ever come back.I ordered a 3 tier fruit cake for my wedding. Upon being picked up by my brother in law, he noticed quite a bit of imperfections and told them to fix it. Their reply was that they couldn't do anything for us and that is the way it is. When we spoke to the manager the day after, they said they would have fixed it on the spot, seems like there was some miscommunication? The overall cake had barely any fruit, mainly cake and cream for the top 2 tiers. When we asked about it, they said it was because it is too heavy and they didn't charge us extra as it is the same price as eg chocolate cake that has no filling. Then why did you charge us extra cake stands to hold up the tiers? Makes no sense. After long chat and complaint, the manager basically brushed us off and said nothing could of been done and the cakes are the way it is. She did offer us some bakery, but we didn't take it. I definitely don't recommend wedding cakes here! Probably will not come back.
