Full and happy!! The make-your-own sauce options is fully loaded and delicious. Servers checked on us regularly and it was nice to have the call button on the side too.The mild chili soup base was too hot for me to try and made the others sweat from their face! ? Their mild, is not what Canadians would consider mild at all, so I'm glad that I went with the mushroom soup base.Over all, it was a nice establishment with delicious food! My first Hot Pot experience was a success!
This is our first time ever trying Hot Pot and everything was so wonderful we will definitely be back !! The pork bone broth was delicious, the server was very friendly and helpful and the overall experience was way better than we ever imagined!
Was just okay. Kinda lost appetite after seeing a cart full of dirty dishes parked next to our table and a piece of hair in soy sauce at the salad bar...Price was not cheap for hotpot. For the price we paid, I expect a more hygienic environment at least ...
A good experience! The restaurant is very nice and the ingredients are fresh! The portions are also large, and it's very cost-effective to eat in a group. Bonnie, who has been helping me with this, is a very warm and loving little girl. Next time I go I will wait for her to go to work!
We went here for dinner and thr experience was not disappointing. This is the 1st time we went to this location, they alao have one in Richmond! It was a busy night, i can say it was actually a full house. Parking is convenient, infront, rear and underground! The place was a little bit smaller than the richmond location. Juat a tip, reserve first, it would be hard to do a walk in during lunches and dinners.. We were greeted timely and was asked for proof of vaccination, ID and to sign our names and phone numbers for contact tracing..So we were looking at the menu, and noticed there were 2 prices per order, i was confused for a bit thinking it might be a full order or half order price. We realized that there is a membership price. So if you are a member you would get diacounted prices per order.. its like $4 off each item.. so if you are a hotpot peraon, i think its worth it! They have several options for meat and seafood as well as veggies! The portions are good as well, o would actually say generous. Their broths were SUPERB! You can actually sluurrpp into it not tasting any MSGs.. it wasnt salty too.. reminds me of hotpot palace in richmond.. the broth that we got was the pork broth and the spicy broth with beef oil (cute cow figure inside the broth).. let me comment on their sauce bar, which you need to pay i think $3/person, unlimited, was well as take out, was decent.. we were satisfied with the choices, maybe if they can just add more appies or sides aside from the oranges and pickled greens.I think the only thing we noticed was the customer service, maybe because its pandemic or it was just really a busy time when we came.. service was a bit slow and it was difficult to catch the servers attention because it was only 3 of them working. They tried their best and they were really nice but it would perfect if there was more staffing.. kudos though to the staff that night! The price was reaainable as well with everything that we ordered.We will definitely come back and would definitely recommend this place for a good hotpot experience.
The service was absolutely horrible! I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with what was a very expensive meal. Worst first time hotspot experience. Will never come back. The waiters did not attend to us and when I made eye contact with them and opened my mouth to speak they would look and walk away. The only time our waiter came to us was to bring the bill and say they were closing even though we weren’t done and there were still other people in the restaurant. We had ordered dessert and wondered where it was and the waiter said “oh we don’t have that”. Didn’t even bother to let us know or ask if we wanted to order something else. Walked out with burning lips and very disappointed!!! Had to ask multiple times for tissues and water. They had one job: to be of service, since we did all the cooking anyway. Definitely don’t think any sort of waiter training was given.
A chain restaurant from China, sichuan style hotpot, if you like spicy food, here is the place to go! Better join their member so you got better price on everything, there is a annual fee for membership, but defiantly worth it. Parking available at both rear and basement, very convenient! Must try their meat combo, come with a nice ring stand, save a lot of space on the table.
Decently portioned food. Service was slow and the employees not very engaging with customers unless you need something. Only bad comment was the corn. Not sure if it was frozen too long but never had corn that came out chewy and soggy.
Taste. Though it's expensive. Would recommend for group >2.
This is my first time here, but I haven't tried it yet. we called to book a table for three and they said they don't take reservations, only walkin. Then we said we would come. when we got there they told us to show the vaccine code. However, a minute later, a staff member came out saying they have a group of 30 they are coming now so they can't take us. if they know the other group is coming, they should say full book tonight so we don't waste time running over. in my opinion, they got that group of people after my call. and it is really time consuming almost 30 minutes to go there and leave in anger. NOT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
