This was my first time trying Mazesoba, at their downtown location I only tried ramen. My life has changed.Their Mazesoba is a symphony of flavours, incredibly fun to eat and filling.I got their Kara Karaage, which they cautioned me was spicy. My spice tolerance is pretty high, it was really good!Great flavours paired with a perfect heat, it was kind like a sweet Sriracha sauce, I really enjoyed it.The Mazesoba I also went down the spicy route and went with the Spicy Mazesoba.the taste and flavours were incredible, I'm still thinking about this a day later as I write this.Really good stuff!I recommend this place for a nice dinner with friends and family, or a date night out!

Went there on a weekday (Monday) so its not busy. Ambience and service are great. First time to try mazesoba and my hubby ordered ramen. Both are tasty. They have vinegar to help balance as its gets saltier in the end. Or you can use rice to mix it with the sauce left. I didn't get the rice because it was already fulfilling. My hubby liked the ramen and the tea. We also ordered takoyaki and its good! ?

This place has a nice ambience and the food was great. I ordered the cheese mazesoba and enjoyed it very much. It had a great portion size and a nice creamy consistency plus having the extra scoop of rice to finish the sauce made it really satisfying. The staff was also friendly and even during lunch, they let you take your time and you never feel rushed. Definitely will be back to try other dishes.

The restaurant was well decorated inside! Friendly staff and most of all the food was very tasty! My ramen broth was so flavorful and my boyfriend loved his Mazesoba. We would definitely come back for more and highly recommend this place to family and friends.

We came on Sunday afternoon and we didn’t need to wait for a table. The service was quick and attentive. I love the ramen and would definitely come back for them. The only disappointment is the ice cream. We had it at the downtown location before and it was a lot more creamier than this one. The one at downtown was made with Hokkaido milk. When we took our first bite of this one at Brentwood, we knew it’s not Hokkaido milk so we asked the server. He admitted that it’s made with local milk. The Brentwood ice cream tastes different from the one at downtown location. Next time, we will ask if it’s made with Hokkaido milk before we order.

I heard a lot about this Mazesoba place from people around me, so me and my gf decided to check this place out cuz we was in the neighborhood. My mind was blown away, wowwww. The food was delicious, beautiful decoration. The most important thing is their service was wonderful 10/10. The host greeted us friendly, we got seat quickly. The servers really nice and helpful especially this is our first time dine in here. We will totally come back a lot in the future, and we make sure our friends know about this place.

A friend recommended me to try the Mazesobo here. It’s a very cute restaurant, fair price, and good service. I ordered the chef’s special and my partner ordered the spicy one. Both were pretty salty, but still yummy! Soft serve was cute too.

We were a little hungry last night around 8:30PM and decided to stop by Kokoro’s new Brentwood location (there was no wait!). Don’t get ‘Kokoro Tokyo Mazesoba’ mixed up with ‘Kokoro Ramen’ on Victoria Street, they are different. What is Mazesoba? Literally translated is mixed noodle and is ramen WITHOUT soup.I have been to their location downtown before, but boy is their new location beautiful. The interior design is so modern and aesthetically pleasing. Service was great, and of course the food never disappoints!Items we ordered;NINJA GYOZAThe Ninja Gyoza was fried to perfection, crispy and juicy at the same time. The filling was a veggie filling with glass noodles (I believe it was chives), topped with fresh scallions and spicy minced pork. The gyoza’s sat on a drizzle of chilli oil. Delicious!MENTAIKO CREAM MAZESOBAI love mentaiko cream sauce, it has this amazing umami flavour comprised of fish roe, some fresh greens, raw egg yolk, and chashu pork. The noodles were perfectly cooked. They give you the option of having a bowl of rice to eat with the remaining sauce. However, we opted out (too full!). We are not a fan of chashu (we prefer lean meat), we would love to try it with their minced pork next time.TANTAN RAMENThis is probably one of the best ramens I’ve had in a while. I loved how peppery it smelled, and the broth was creamy but not heavy. With the broth, I believe they give you a choice of chicken or pork (I can’t remember, but I went with chicken). The Tantan Ramen is served with thin noodles, spicy minced pork, soft broiled egg, scallions, onions, fresh ground pepper and sesame sauce. I also added corn, cause your girl loves her corn.DRINKSBlue Hawaii LemonadeKokoro Yogurt Refresher (Peach)Other things to note;PARKING: There is street parking, or underground parking.RESERVATIONS: They do NOT accept reservations.

Wow this place was so good! Everything we ordered tasted great! I was really impressed with the dry noodle dish (Zenbu), Tokyo Iced Milk Tea and desserts (Hokkaido Creme Cone & Fuji-cheese cup cake). All worth a try and reasonably priced. Service was on point as well! I will definitely be back. ? Thanks for a wonderful first experience at your restaurant.

Love the interior decor here! It’s cool North Burnaby, is starting to attract more Japanese chains. This is the second time we’ve eaten here and the consistency is pretty good. For the maze soba dishes, make sure to leave some sauce, so you can mix-in some complimentary rice at the end. The portion is just right for me (without feeling like i’ve overeaten)
