This is a nice restaurant, passing by outside, its appearance is not good, go in and have a try, there are chefs in the restaurant, very good, and the service attitude is also very good, I will go to eat again next time.
Went as a family of 5 with reservations and we got seated almost immediately after walking in!They serve regular Cantonese dim sum dishes, but all of them were really delicious and had a lot of flavour without being too salty. I'd highly recommend their steamed rice noodles, especially the one that we had with beef in it.
Went with big expectations, and left hugely let down. We had reservations. Ordered about 10 mins after we arrived. We eventually got the fish skin and hot and sour soup and then sat waiting for almost an hour more for our other food while tables around us, many of whom were seated long after us, were getting their food brought out. The big 20+ people tables were also getting the higher $ticket items, so I feel they were prioritizing the more expensive tables. After 1hour 25 min we left, paid for the two items we had, which in retrospect was still too much. The food we did have was not good enough to warrant the too long wait and the crazy high prices.
We went there for dinner as a group of seven people last night. We ordered 6 items to share and only got fried fish skin and soup after waiting for close to 1.5 hours. We asked the waiters twice about our food while other tables that came after us were being served. We just left after paying for what we ate. We didn't order anything complicated (seafood and eggplant with spicy sauce, a noodle dish, etc). The food we managed to get was mediocre at best. After all this, they even asked us to pay them tips!We will not come back again.
We came on Mother’s day which I can understand is super busy. The service was subpar and I can tell everyone is overwhelmed. All the food was your typical dimsum and nothing that really stood out. I enjoyed the scrambled egg white and scallop fried rice but it was kind of overpriced.
The food was good but a bit salty, the price point on the higher side. The atmosphere is nice and bright.
Food was good, service was good except the "manager" whose name is Linda. After we paid, we got the payment successful notification right after. But she insisted the payment didn't go through and asked me to pay again even after I showed the payment successful message to her. I asked if she could check the payment history on the machine or call the manager to assist with the situation. She got really defensive and said she is the manager, and just kept on saying the paper - receipt didn't come out, so I need to pay AGAIN. I showed her the payment message on my phone again and even helped her find the payment history information on her machine, it showed CLEARLY our payment is successful. And she kept on making it feels like those don't mean anything, as long as the receipt didn't come out then we didn't pay. In the end, she just said 'alright ' and left, as if we ate for free???It is ridiculous and outrageous how paying customers are treated like this. We've been coming here for a long time; what happened today is unacceptable and disappointing.
My favorite item here is the shiu May.. you could really taste the shrimp and pork inside and the shrimp is fresh and crunchy. The overall service was pretty quick, place is neat and the value suits the price. However, the pan fried pork bun was quite disappointing as it’s too much dough, not crunchy on the outside, and has such tiny bit of filling.
Very solid yumcha spot which is very difficult to find in Burnaby. Been here quite few times and they've honoured reservations rather quickly. It can get very busy by noon on a weekday (outside of the Omicron scare). Definitely go with the golden soft tofu. Most of the traditional items are good though their ham sui gok is rather dinky and not that tasty.
Good food, nice place and good service. Taste good and price is reasonable.
