Good taste, but not that memorable. We wanted to try the marinated raw crab - the seasoning was good, but there was so little meat in the crab that I'm not sure it was worth it. I heard there's way more meat if you eat in.
Giving one star for the good service. Food is literally so far the worst ever had. The marinated beef barely has any flavor in it. Didn’t really like the marinated crab. Maybe it’s just me. Way overpriced for the amount of food. The highlight was that the waitress cooked the food for us.
This place gets BUSY! If you want to get a seat, get there early, or expect to line-up!Now there’s a reason they get busy, their pricing is not the cheapest out there, but the quality of ingredients and the service is top notch!Getting the 2 person couple set for $90 was actually a decent deal. There was plenty of meat for two, and you get to try a bit of everything. The soup was well made, and they helped refill our small dishes whenever needed.I would definitely recommend ordering the sets if you aren’t sure what you want, get there early, and have a couple of drinks.
Tried their lunch special for 2 for $43. It was just ok. The sashimi salad was underdressed. The cod soup uses frozen fish and there are a LOT of small bones. Tried the soy sauce raw blue crab for the first time. It was ok, not sure if I'd try it again though. Their slow cooked pork was so so, boiled and not a lot of taste to it. We did enjoy the beef short rib soup which we did order separately. That was very good. Service was also very good.
This place is one of the best Korean foods for your money in GVRD.Ignore its 4 stars because it is located in Korea town and hence extremely competitive here in terms of authenticity and value so the less than perfect rating is harsh and under rated.Excellent service, price point and amazing quality ingredients and freshness. Taste is also excellent. It deserves a 5 stars.Probably one of the best seafood pancakes in GVRD but their other dishes are also excellent. This is not a large place and is very busy so expect to wait.
Wow! This is a feast for royalty. The portions are gigantic and the flavours of each dish are out of this world. I highly recommend the sashimi don with spicy sauce (on the side), pork bone soup, and the seafood pancake. The servers are all friendly too!
Tried the spicy pork entrails, kinda oily but tastes pretty good. However, the monkfish hot pot was very disappointing. It is a pot full of bean sprouts… like 1 kg of it.. not much fish at all… and the taste has a strange smell (might be I’m not used to the fish smell). In terms of service, we did not receive any drinks/water until we asked for it. And then the cups were not given either.Would recommend trying to the regular menu item or bbq instead of the specialty items.
Second time coming here. Service is always good and friendly. First time I ordered the pork bone soup meal and the oysters (6). My friends had the spicy cold noodle soup $17.50 with sashimi and added the steak tartar for $7. We all liked our dishes and I tried theirs and also liked it. To share, we had the soy sauce raw marinated shrimp which was delicious. The second time I came with friends we ordered the shrimp again. My friends had the raw marinated crab with spicy soft tofu seafood soup meal, and they liked it. I had the regular spicy soft tofu seafood soup meal. Meals come with rice. There is free hot tea and side dishes which include kimchi, bean sprouts, seaweed, and I believe they were picked jalapeños and onions. I would come here again. Everything is tasty, a good proportion and reasonably priced, especially the raw shrimp dish on my opinion
Very delicious food and very attentive staff! We got the BBQ combo C for 2 and it definitely feeds more than 2 people! Easily for 3-4.
First time here at Jejudo. Interior was a bit chilly but the food is great. We had the mul-hwe(sashimi on cold noodles) which is fantastic and the haemul pajeon(seafood pancake) which was quite thick but jam packed with seafood. Finally had a side of grilled mackerel which was soft and moist. Would come back definitely for the mul-hwe alone.... seriously authentic and delicious. Kind and friendly service and a bustling lunch crowd. Thanks for the delicious food!
