This is a great little gem in the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood. It’s family owned and operated. Great deal for take out as they have decent “Canadian” style Chinese food and you get 10% off for take out. Prices are fair and food is good. Wonton soup is tasty for sure.
Pretty disappointing. Of the 4 dishes that I ordered, the chili squid is the only dish I'm okay with. The rice noodles weren't stir properly so the top layer didn't pick up the seasoning while the bottom layer is much saltier. The pineapple sweet and sour pork is entirely lean meat but probably because it's refried the meat is very fibrous and dry. the egg rolls taste pretty much like factory bought. the chili squid is the only dish I'm okay but I'd prefer the breading to be a touch crispier. I doubt I'll visit this place again anytime soon.
Hit or miss…. Last night we ordered our 3 dishes but found them to be not so tasty. Quite the change from last week when it was amazing. Still looking for a consistently good Chinese restaurant in Burnaby. And if you don’t ask you don’t get soy sauce or fortune cookies.
Our new go to......I wish we found this place 4 years ago. We did delivery. The food was excellent and not at all greasy. It was hot when it was delivered and the delivery dude was very nice as was the guy who took our order. Will definitely be ordering again.
Honestly been going to this place for over 10 years. Love the owner and staff. The food is absolutely amazing and affordable. This place gives you the at home comfy feeling. You gotta eat the fried Squid, sweet and sour, 3 meat chow mean, young chow fried rice, and spicy porkchop.
One of the places I go to for my Chinese food fixes or for dinner options. Great selection of food. I haven't had a dine-in dinner yet. I can see they have great service when I see dine-in guests.
Absolutely 2nd rate food, In a city of many Asian people, they must avoid this place, The BBQ Duck Congee had maybe a gram of duck in it.the Black Bean Spareribs,, terrible sauce, and the Foochow fried rice swimming in this liquid.You can do much better in Vancouver.
Super nice staff and large portions for food. Complimentary soup and other special dishes with combo dinner deals. Interior is dated but spacious and quiet.
I only order Chinese food from here. It's always delicious and I order the same thing everytime and they are always consistent with the quality. There is also so much food per dish! The sweet and sour chicken and beef with green beans are to die for ? plus if you pick up your food they will give you 10% off!!
Friendly service, very good quality food. Had a great experience. Ordered shrimp chicken fried rice, beef gailan, fried chicken black pepper sauce and wonton soup. had lots of leftovers for work. Would highly recomend
