One of the best Korean restaurants aroundIt's one of those restaurants thay you will for sure crave to go backThe pork belly was my favorite, the tofu soup was so tasty and the ingredients were very freah. You can choose from 5 different levels of spiciness. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are super nice. It's not a very fancy place but yeah the taste of the food will make you go back very soon. I'll try the short ribs next time as the waitress recommended but I was craving for pork belly so next time I'll try the short ribs and the seafood tofu soup ??
First time here- food taste good, I’d say something typical in a Korean restaurant. It’s not a bad thing but you know it’s consistent with others. I’d say pass on the fried clams and shrimp salad for its price you can order better dish for a little bit more money. Surprisingly the miso soup was actually really tasty! we didn’t plan to eat the miso soup, but we tried it in the end and we regretted not eating it sooner.
Great food and service! It's a smaller space but the seating was good and had partition still for health & safety. I appreciate that! I had the spicy cold noodle, pork dumplings and bibimbap. Will come back for their tofu soup next time!
Home style Korean restaurant. Taste good with fair price. The only problem is the limited parking. However, we will come again if we are in the area.
My Korean friend took me to this restaurant, then I felt in love with it. Authentic Korean home style cuisine, very tasty!
This was our first time here. We were surprised to find a Korean restaurant in this area (this was previously a ramen restaurant). The staff were very nice and would often done check up on us. It had a nice atmosphere with good music and vibes. It was also very clean. The menu isn't much different than other places, but it's pretty much the same as House of Tofu soup by Lougheed. The portion sizes were smaller though, and a little more expensive. The food itself was nice. It was pretty salty though, so we couldn't finish it. Come here if you're with a group, since they have lots of appetizers (Warning: very small portions). They have some interesting choices like deep fried clams. We finally realized Dooboo means tofu in Korean, so that was cute. The logo is cute too. Defs come check this place out. They even allow reservations which Lougheed restaurants don't.
Love this small and cozy restaurant. The tofu soup is the best in the neighborhood. The fish roe dish is visually impressive and yummy
Flavourful items with solid portion sizes. Spice level was good. Side dishes were yummy and sauces on the side were delicious.
The aroma of delicious Korean food embraces you as you enter this local restaurant. We were really looking forward to trying this place out given the high ratings. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the dishes we tried this visit.Food:Appetizer sized chicken salad: nicely done and not greasy. The finely sliced cabbage greens garnish were fresh.Japchae yam noodles: a decent portion but arrive watery and lacked seasoning. It is possible due to the spinach and onions sweating out.Soft tofu soup: (had the mushroom option) but were surprised it only came with one type of mushroom: button mushrooms- there were no traditional Korean mushrooms. Overall this dish needed more depth of flavour.Rice was perfectly cooked.Overall service was cordial and parking was easily accessible in the front lot.
Not the best Korean restaurant compared to the ones near Louheed but the fried chicken tastes okay. The Mayo rice bowl with chicken tastes a bit strange to me and all other dishes didn’t impress me.Dishes are in decent portion though. It is not very busy on Sunday night and there are still a few parking spaces left in front of the store. The Christmas music makes it a pleasant dining experience. The wait time is like 12 minutes which isn’t too bad.
