The food was amazing!!! I can say one of the best Indian food that I’ve ever had so far!! The costumer service was really good, the girl who served us was so friendly, patient and helpful.In total, great experience.
It was quiet and unassuming so we took a chance - the food was outstanding.Well worth a visit. Take the recommendations of the staff, they won’t disappoint.
The food is always phenomenal, most ordered meal is butter chicken and garlic Naan with some rice. Perfect quality all the time. In comparison to tasty Indian bistro this is up there. Great quality and hopefully they maintain it. Price point is up there as well.PARKING: is at rear of building opposite of main street. It's a little awkward but close enough. Limited to about 10 cars I believe.
On the border of New West and Burnaby lies a little venue that serves some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. I wish my basmati rice would turn out like Desi's. The lamb vindaloo was tasty; the mild spice was perfect for us cowards, as was the butter chicken. Just delicious. It's a very nice cozy restaurant with about 10 tables, with a liquor license and a few free parking spots in the back. We've been before and we'll definitely return. Thank you!
(EDIT: i was contacted by the restaurant promptly. they apologized and explained to me how the issues with the bones and the chat messages could have occurred, as well as how they were working to resolve those issues. they also asked what i was looking for as far as compensation, and we reached a satisfactory agreement.Very professional and everything was fully resolved.thank you!)(EDIT2: removed photos, as issue was resolved.)my roommates and i ordered from here last night: i got the goat curry.it tasted pretty good, but my dish was filled with bone shards of various sizes. many of these were very sharp or pointy; at one point i took a bite that i thought was safe and cut the inside of my gums.i went through the dish and picked out (what i hoped was) all of the bones and set them aside. ...about a quarter of the dish was just Bones. several of them didnt even have any meat attached.i tried to bring this up to the restaurant through the Chat feature. my messages were seen and marked as "read" but i did not get any replies from the restaurant. no offer to refund that dish, not even "We're sorry about your experience."
I had really a great experience here!Their service is pretty good.The flavours of food is delicious; quality plus quantity.The prices are quite reasonable.Ambience is good.Must visit this place once, you will not be disappointed!

Ordered momos and samosas. The veg momos were very flavourful. The veg samosas were very good & better than other restaurants in the area. We hope to try more dishes in the future.
