I am so disappointed in my experience at this DQ location. I took the time to give feedback in order to receive a free dilly bar. The guidelines say that you have to give feedback within 3 days of the order but it says nothing about the code expiring. I completed the feedback and specifically went back to this location so I could claim my free dilly bar. When I got there, the manager told me they couldn’t accept it because the person on the receipt didn’t work there… why would that matter? Then, she went on to say that the code was for last year so they wouldn’t be able to enter it into the system… there was no expiry date on the rules. The manager was extremely rude and had very poor customer service. I was going to buy an ice cream cake on top of the free dilly bar but with this type of service, I don’t think I will ever go back to this location again.There was so much push back for ONE free dilly bar that I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t just give it to me since I completed the survey… very disappointed
Terrible customer service. Very dissapointed. We came in to buy a cake.Previously we had completed their survey online to get a free dilly bar. This was last year, but since it needed to be redeemed at this specific location this was the first time we were in the area.The employee Rupel told us we could not redeem it because the employee who helped us last year did not work there anymore, and the receipt was from last year.No where on the website, or the receipt does it say this coupon expires, nor does it say the same employee needs to help us (with turnover as it is I'm shocked this was what she said). We went out of our way to come to this specific location and I was very dissapointed.To top it off, the employee then gave us a receipt for a completely different order(a door dash one - assuming this was because it does not say the employee's name). When we asked for our receipt she said it was not working even though the customer before us got theirs...We bought a $40 icecream cake which more than makes up for the $1 dilly bar. Why they would not give it to us is beyond me. Very frustrated about this. I guess my friends and I will be looking elsewhere for ice cream in the future.
This location is not part is DQ loyalty program, Blizzard was runny, it was not served upside down, they shorted the serving too. I do not recommend this location, will not return.
I would have given it a 0 star if I could. Very bad food. I ordered sandwich it had a black residual mark like that of a pan layer. The cook used their hands to make my order ??. They took 25 minutes to make my order and had terrible quality. Will never recommend it or return. Extremely slow and bad. They are severely understaffed and the flow of kitchen was bad also their were spoons and straws everywhere. Not even hygienic.
There's a closer Dairy Queen to us, but we prefer this one because it's in a quiet corner of the Kensington shopping centre. Lots of parking with fast and friendly service.
This is by far The Worst Dairy Queen location ever in the lower mainland!!!! I came in for a flamethrower combo and had to wait 23 minutes to receive my order. On top of that the establishment smelled awful, dirty and u kempt appearance and when I asked to speak with the GM for a job application the rep told me to leave, and never return with a resume. I used to live in burnaby and I can tell you that the carillon square location was far more professional.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and well organized. Food prep and overall quality control was done with care and attention. This is clearly a well managed restaurant Many thanks!
I saw two employees who were not wearing their uniform rather they wore night tracksuits. One employee at the front had no sense of professionalism. She ignored everyone and spoke in her native language. It was insensitive of other customers. I kindly request the management to see towards it.
First of all the workers at this location are so rude, second I ordered the $8 meal deal and the cheeseburger tasted a day old and the patty was soggy. I will never go to this location again
I have tried 3 ice creams red velvet , Oreo and chocolate fudge extreme liked all the flavours.
