Busy spot for amazing fish and chips. The value is definitely there for the price you pay… we had the AYCE (mon-wed).we only saw two waitresses and they always looked busy… be prepared to be patient with the older waitresses.
Talk about one of the last places that don't feel like this world we keep rushing into. Like walking into a time machine. The place is kept up so nice. Everything spotless and staff that a so kind. The kind of place you leave you cash for the bill on the table and go on your way. And I haven't even talked about the food. The best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Cod, halibut, clam chowder. It's all amazing.
simple no bs fish and chips!...everything was cooked to perfection...pay the extra 0.75 and get the good hot sauce it won't disappoint
Lovely place to indulge your self in some iconic fish and chips.The food tastes unique.The prices are amazing.The restaurant is well lit and spaced.The team is very sweet and helpful.The portions are perfect.Would 100% recommend this place to others!
This is my first time here for fish and chips, also for the all-you-can-eat menu. Pricing is amazing that may scare some people out, such as one of my friends who starts hating fish and chips after having too much in her life. The fish was quite delicious and it would be better if they could put less oil and salt, but what do you expect from this unbeatable price? Free pops are included too. Actually, there was a funny story when I just arrived at the store: a mature white lady picking up her order, told me that I won’t get killed if I come with my own race haha.
Went for the AYCE. $13.95 for Pollock, with fries and bottomless soft drink. I was done after 1 plate since the fish pieces were so big. Didn't get my money's worth. :( My husband ate 6 pieces of fish and fries!Huge line for take out, but we dined in. AYCE is only for dine-in Mon-Wed.

These guys make the best Fish and chips in the lower mainland!There is another great location where I first got introduced To their wonderful battered fish… Kensington Square on Hastings St.I always go for the amazing Halibut.My fish has always been light and flaky.And these guys are “kings” at making the best french fries and onion rings too!Be sure to check out their amazing menu for dining in or take out.We have love this place so much we have always brought family and friends from outside of the greater Vancouver area to eat here.The servers have all been phenomenal offering great service with a smile…even when it’s hidden behind a mask nowadays!Yes… I love eating here and have been dining at this establishment in New Westminster for at least five years now and will be back again and again!!
I ordered 5pieces cod combo and beer. Cockney Kings Fish and Chips is one of the best in Vancouver. Fries have unique flavour and I normally eat with ketchup but I don’t need it for this place. The fish is big, juicy, and crispy. In addition, the portion is very genereous! Service is good too. Highly recommended?
This was the worst experience I've had.We ordered cod and chips, calamari, oysters and two extra tartar sauce for takeout. When we ordered on the phone, we clearly said "first item, second item, third item" and so on, so it was very clear that how many dishes we wanted. After we got home, we found that the tartar sauce was missing. We called them and asked about the sauce and they said that they didn't charge us for it, if we want it they can give us free sauces. Whatttt?We were so disappointed to the service and unclear menu. We were expecting tartar sauce and coleslaw would come with meals, but it isn't included. I wish the food taste could redeem the service, but unfortunately it didn't...Also, they had too many inexperienced employees, giving kids work experience is good, but you need to be careful, because these kind of simple mistakes may otherwise lose you many customers.But I liked their eco friendly packaging.
